At least 15 killed when Israeli soldiers open fire during mass demonstrations in Gaza

Gaza hospitals, running low on blood and overstretched by the huge number of wounded, were reeling after one of the enclave’s bloodiest days outside of open war, in which Israeli soldiers shot 773 people with live ammunition, according to the ministry of health.

Fifteen of the wounded died, said the ministry spokesperson Dr Ashraf al-Qidra. “Most of the dead were aged between 17 and 35 years old,” he said. “The injuries were on the upper part of the body.” He added that the remainder of the wounded, some of whom were in a critical condition, had been “shot with live ammunition”.

Measure would apply to most immigrant and non-immigrant visa applicants, affecting more than 14 million people each year

In a broad expansion of the information gathered from applicants for US visas, the federal government is proposing to collect social media identities from nearly everyone who seeks entry into the United States, according to a state department filing on Friday.

The proposal, if approved by the office of management and budget (OMB), would require most immigrant and non-immigrant visa applicants to list all social media identities they have used in the past five years.

Under Armour says data breach affected 150M MyFitnessPal accounts

The MyFitnessPal team became aware on March 25 that an unauthorized party acquired data associated with accounts in February. MyFitnessPal is Baltimore-based Under Armour’s food and nutrition app.

Under Armour began notifying MyFitnessPal users four days after learning of the issue through emails and in-app messaging.
