Ever wondered if we don’t take care of our body where are we going to live!Health is wealth, we all have heard this so many times in our life, but it takes time and certain level of maturity to really believe this phrase. Health indeed is the best investment one can make and is the first form of wealth you can gain for yourself and people around you.Optimum health is not only important but is a true reflection of self love and self respect.

We all know food is fuel to our body, but it’s also fuel for our mind and soul. Also meals we eat are just not calories, they are the information bearers. They talk to each cell of our body.Always be mindful of how powerful it is what you hold in your spoon and fork.If looked closely, food is actually a combination of elements which provides nourishment to each…

People in Poland join nationwide job strike over top court’s abortion ruling after days of protests – ABC News

Hundreds of people are seen protesting in a Wroclaw street at night with red smoke above them. Several hold placards. The Women’s Strike, the key organizers of the protests over the past week, called the strike under the slogan: “We are not going to work.”

Rage over the court ruling, which would deny legal abortions to pregnant people even in cases where a child is sure to die upon birth, has been directed at the Roman Catholic church and Jaroslaw Kaczynski, the ruling party leader and most powerful politician in the country.

Protesters entered churches on Sunday to disrupt Masses, confronted priests with obscenities and spray-painted church buildings.

Oct. 27 update on COVID-19 in MN: Double-digit deaths, record hospitalizations | MPR News

COVID-19’s toll in Minnesota continued its grim ascent Tuesday with the Health Department reporting 15 more deaths, nearly 2,200 more cases and a record number of hospitalizations.

Newly confirmed cases were up on relatively low testing, skyrocketing the positive test rate above 15 percent — more than three times the threshold officials say is concerning.

It’s a jump so startling that MPR News checked with the department to see if it was an error. It was not, although it’s unclear yet if this is an anomaly or evidence of a problematic trend.

The Approval Addiction

Saania's diary - reflections, learnings, sparkles

A lot of us wish for our talents, our intelligence, or our strengths to be recognised, appreciated, and known by others. But we very soon start to rely on these approvals and try to ‘alter’ our lives to fit in within these expectations. Unfortunately, right from here starts a very vicious cycle.

Ever since I was younger, I had an insane obsession with ‘making sure people knew’ I was this or I was that. My mood, my emotions, and my feelings were a dangerously direct reflection of what others thought of me. It got to the point where I got excessively dependent on ‘approval’. If people praised me, I would feel empowered. If people criticised me, I would feel anxious. And if people insulted me, I would start to look down on myself.

A common example I often look back at are the times wherein I felt the immense pleasure…
