“KEEP CALM”

Soni's thoughts

Hi pals… Long gap… Hope all are good, normal and calm??
Yes? No?? May be??
Well how to be calm in abnormal circumstances? How you guys keep yourself composed? Any mantras?

So “do Meditation, take deep breath, count down from reverse” etc are common facts which everyone knows and many does too.
Apart from these what next?
“do the things which you love to do always, it will keep you at peace”, hmm even this also all do..

Today i wanna share with you all what i usually do when i feel sad/anxious/nervous/frustrated and so on….(many of you might do the same, still thought to give a glimpse)

Music

Music is such a healer which cannot be explained in words or thesis.
Its natures dandy creation whether sound of birds chirping, sound of rain drops, sound of wind, sound of sea…
If you just go to such a quiet place…

‘I don’t know what Donald Trump has against soldiers’: GOP voter suppression efforts disenfranchises troops, Democrats say | The Independent

“I don’t know what Donald Trump has against soldiers, sailors, airmen and Marines who are returning absentee ballots from abroad, but it is going to be a stain on that campaign forever, that they thought part of their strategy to win was to make it harder for American citizens — including patriots serving overseas — to have their voices heard,” said Mr Buttigieg, the former Democratic presidential candidate who is in line for a position in Mr Biden’s Cabinet if the Democratic nominee wins the 2020 election. U.S. Diplomat Coughs Online, and European Allies Wonder if They Were Exposed – The New York Times

The senior department official, Peter Berkowitz, held face-to-face meetings the same day with British officials. He had similar meetings with French diplomats a few days later in Paris before flying back to the United States on a commercial airline — and then testing positive for the coronavirus.

Mr. Berkowitz’s trip two weeks ago to Budapest, London and Paris has angered other State Department employees who believed it was unnecessary. It has irritated foreign officials whom he may have exposed to the virus. And it has raised questions about the limits of in-person diplomacy during a pandemic — especially as cases are again skyrocketing across the United States and Europe.

State Department protocols generally call for diplomats who are showing symptoms of the virus — including repeated coughing — to quarantine until they can be tested. Then, if they test positive for Covid-19, they are expected to remain overseas until they test negative or, in extreme cases, can be brought back to the United States with a biomedical unit.

Sheriff Breaks Up Massive Halloween Party In A Bronx Warehouse – Gothamist (What were attendees thinking – Covid won’t catch me? And the promoters? Death profit?

A massive Halloween rager was broken up early Sunday morning in the Bronx after hundreds of costumer-wearing party-goers were caught crowding in a packed warehouse as the COVID-19 pandemic continues, according to the Sheriff’s Office.

Just before 1:30 a.m. on Sunday, deputy sheriffs found more than 557 people dancing and drinking alcohol inside a warehouse on Seabury Avenue near Butler Place. The party had two DJs and a walk-up bar, as well as bathrooms and a food truck set up in a loading zone, according to Sheriff Joseph Fucito, who also noted that that social distancing was not being practiced.

Deputy sheriffs saw more than 150 people entering from a back gate at 1445 Commerce Avenue to get inside, the Sheriff’s Office said.

The venue didn’t have a liquor license of any kind, in violation of state liquor laws in addition to coronavirus emergency orders.

The party was shut down and some 20 organizers, bouncers, employees, and entertainers were slapped with court appearance tickets.
