Fall seven times and stand up eight

One way to practice generosity is to give energy where it is needed, whether that is in the form of time, money or love.

The most challenging time to be generous is when we are feeling imperfect.

While some of us have experienced being in the red financially, some would feel broke even if we had a million dollars in the bank.

Either way, as the adage goes, it is always in giving that we receive, which means that when we live in a state of lack, the very gesture we may least want to provide is the very act that could help us create the abundance that we seek.

One way to practice generosity is to give energy where it is needed.

Giving money to a cause or person in need is one way to provide power.

Giving attention, love, or a smile to another person are other acts of showing that we can offer.

After all, there are people all over the world that are hungry for love.

Sometimes when we practice generosity, we practice it conditionally.

We might be expecting to “receive back” from the person to whom we gave.

We might even become angry or resentful if that person doesn’t reciprocate.

However, trust in the natural flow of energy, and you will find yourself practising generosity with no strings attached.

This is the purest form of giving. Remember that what you send out will always come back to you.

Selflessly help a friend in need without expecting them to return the same favour in the same way, and know that you, too, will receive that support from the universe when you need it.

Besides, giving conditionally creates stress (because we are waiting with an invisible balance sheet to receive our due), giving unconditionally makes abundance.

It We give freely because we trust that there is always an unlimited supply.

Being aware of how much we are always supported by the universe is one of the keys to abundance and generosity.

Consciously remember the times you’ve received support from expected and unexpected sources. Remember anyone who has helped you when you’ve needed it most, and bless all situations that come into your life for the lessons and gifts they bring you.

Remember that all things given and received emanate from generosity. Giving is an act of gratitude. Plant the seeds of generosity through your acts of giving, and you will grow the fruits of abundance for yourself and those around you.

Recipe : Cracked Wheat and Spinach Pulao

Inhale Peace; Exhale Love. Joy will Follow! - RUELHA

Cracked wheat is such a healthy cereal to include in your meal plans. But not many people are familiar with this ingredient. Think of it as thick rawa and this might help you come up with dishes that you are already accustomed to cooking using rawa. Of course, rawa cooks a whole lot quicker than this. Some of you are familiar with couscous. Well, it’s very similar; but dalia is the natural untreated grain so it will take a lot longer to cook than couscous which has undergone some processing. Today I’m going to show you how to make a simple and wholesome cracked wheat pulao. I added spinach at the end. You can either omit that step or replace spinach with any other vegetable of your choice.

Ingredients:

  • 2 tbsp ghee/oil
  • 1 big onion, finely chopped
  • 10-15 cloves of garlic, smashed
  • 3 green chilies
  • 2 med tomato, finely chopped

Multiple GOP Michiganders test positive for COVID-19 after district meeting | TheHill

“This meeting is what’s happening in a lot of districts. They’re not following the guidelines. I would say, at most, that room should have had 40 people there,” Watts said of the gathering of about 69 people.

He continued, “The people in charge did not care.”

Watts noted that only about three people were masked throughout the duration of the meeting.

Scott McGraw, chairman of the 6th District Republican Committee, recalled the event having closer to 50 attendees.

The men heard varying estimates of those who have since gotten sick: Watts believes at least 10 have tested positive for the virus, and McGraw thought it was more like four to eight people.

Recipe : Ruelha’s Special Beetroot Fried Rice

Looks delightful!

Inhale Peace; Exhale Love. Joy will Follow! - RUELHA

Well, I’m unique 😉 so I tend to do things differently too. I follow a different method to make fried rice. The way do it is by soaking the vegetables in a vinaigrette solution to draw out their distinct flavours so they blend well in the rice instead of just within themselves. I discovered this technique when I had to come up with ways to salvage leftover salads. We used to consume a lot of vinaigrette salads at home and invariably, there’d be leftovers. Veggies get limp and soggy once the dressing is mixed so I just used up all that dressing and salad along with my leftover boiled/steamed rice and viola – this dish was born. It’s been a whole decade since I completely changed the way I make any variant of fried rice now.

Ingredients:

  • 1 beetroot
  • 1/4 cabbage, cubed
  • 2 capsicums, thickly sliced
  • Plus any other vegetable…
