Context, Thought, and Learning: ShiraDest Offers Project Do Better

Music is also a crucial part of a person’s health.

So, how do we each help our society to become more fully inclusive for all of us, and to understand how very connected we all are?

I believe that attention to shared musical styles may provide part of an answer.  I started a note about that, a few years ago, on page twelve of my book Stayed on Freedom’s Call:

Shared Musical Styles: Call And Response

“I will sing to the Lord, for He has triumphed gloriously;
Horse and driver He has hurled into the sea.
2 The Lord is my strength and might;
He is become my deliverance.
This is my God and I will enshrine Him;
The God of my father, and I will exalt Him.
3 The Lord, the Warrior —
Lord is His name!”

Why is human eye sensitive to changes in brightness?

themacbit

Have you ever experienced a sudden darkness in front of your eyes when you come back inside your home on a sunny day? Human eyes experience such phenomenon when we enter from a bright lighting to dim one. Even in opposite situations when we travel from inside of a tunnel to outside, there is a split second of darkness. We try to find out the reason behind the sensitivity of our eyes.

I recently did some search on the topic and found that the reason behind the phenomenon is pretty intriguing.
Little background:Our eyes are made up of two kinds of photoreceptor, called rods and cones. Rods are responsible for processing light when photons are scarce. Cones require more photons to fire and help us see in bright environment.
Main Reason: The rods are very sensitive to photons. Researchers say that single photon is enough to fire rods. The…

अगर हम एक होते।If we were one.

If everything was one then this world would have been so different.

There is no sorrow, no pain, there is just happiness everywhere.

There would have been no fence or no small one, all would have been one!

I was you and you were in me.

If everything was one, this world would be so different!

If everything were one, the world would have been so different!

No Pain, No Sorrow, Only Happiness All Around.

Nobody would been rich, Nobody would have been poor. Everyone would have been one!

I would have been you and you would have been me.

If everything were one, the world would would have been so different!

Beyond The Lines

If everything were one, the world would have been so different!

No Pain, No Sorrow, Only Happiness All Around.

Nobody would been rich, Nobody would have been poor. Everyone would have been one!

I would have been you and you would have been me.

If everything were one, the world would would have been so different!

This is the first poem that I have written. I hope you will like it.

Albreht Direr,moć ruke i uma – Albrecht Dürer, the power of hand and mind

Albrecht Dürer (1471-1528), appears as a great drawing lighthouse in his and other times. Strong concentration, precision that you can be afraid of, endurance, systematics, but also logic decorated with nobility, and of course, perseverance – describes a German. One, whose tree divinely stands in a dark Gothic forest. His boyish self-portraits, portraits of pillows or mothers, are just as exciting as the mature works of young nobles and old masters, rabbits, plants, knights of the Apocalypse, alpine and imaginary landscapes. That long, firm and supple line, which flows in almost one breath from the crown to the tendon on the heel, with a sense of the essential, that clarity without trembling, the common hand of heart and mind, that is Dürer.

Myrela

Reset the clock… Again

The Mind of Brosephus

1. Mass shooting.

2. Sadness and grief.

3. Thoughts and prayers.

4. NRA fearmongering.

5. Nothing.

6. Repeat steps 1-5.

It’s not like we don’t know what’s going to happen. It’s not like we don’t know it will happen again. The only thing we can’t pinpoint is the exact time and location of the next mass shooting. America has a gun problem, and we are like the world’s crackhead when it comes to gun violence. We have people who refuse to acknowledge we have a fatal addiction that kills, and that refusal is killing tens of thousands of Americans every year.

This particular topic is personal for a number of reasons. First, I’ve been at places where someone decided to shoot, one time even being close enough to the shooter to know he was shooting a revolver and seeing the sparks coming from the barrel. I’ve seen a person with…

Imaginations are more important than knowledge!

My experience

We all make fantasies. Everything that appears to be true today has started with fantasies. We can imagine everything. However, the barriers of thinking in these corridors are not reduced. Many ideas are still buried deep inside. Sometimes we are not encouraged, sometimes the situation is not right. Sometimes we get so caught up in the routine that we do not allow our imagination to roam freely. Sometimes what we think becomes right there. And this is what we forget. We think on obstacles and go on stumbling. Knowledge is limited and imagination can cover the whole world. While knowledge engages the conscious world, the imagination dives into the vast ocean of the subconscious mind.

Friendship and Religion

Shayan's Sphere

Well I never thought of writing such an article by my own. Actually, just the day before yesterday, one of my poet friend from All Poetry asked me to give my views regarding Friendship and Religion. Is it a necessary fact that two hearts can be mate only and only if they have synonymous religious ideologies? She asked the same question to some other poets. Well I don’t know how the other poets replied, but at least this is what I exactly wrote to her….

First of all thanks for giving me the opportunity to express my views over such a consequential topic. However, I want to clear it first that decently I’ve never thought over such a theme before. And it is equally true that I personally don’t pen on friendship much. Most of the so called friends in today’s world are not far to be compared with shadows…
