Is Buying Vegan Better? — Something to Ponder About…

Barbara Crane Navarro

I ‘m the type of girl who’s rarely without some kind of handbag, or tote. I have many. My so-named ‘bag-robe,’ consists of various D.I.Y. constructions, which have either beenrecycled,or have recycled fabric or zips, incorporated into them. Many I’vehand-made or hand-painted. There’s one exception to this and it’s that one exception that had me[…]

We all need it and we all can give it ❣

AN INTROVERT EMPATH🙏

” For unless love becomes tenderness – the connective tissues of love – it never becomes transformational . The tender doesnt happen tomorrow – only now.” ~ Gregory Boyle

Every species existing in the universe has a hunger for compassion , love and kidness. Where once everyone was imbibe with the morals of treating evrybody with the sense of oneness is slowly eroding . So hauntingly , the world has changed and started considering their needs and encitement more important than the pain and suffering being endured by the ones who suffer .

A child born to a mother wants to share his / her world by being just next to them. But young animals are being deprived of this love at the begining of their birth , just to meet the commercial needs of our society. How can we keep ourselves healthy by snatching somebody’s life. Parent’s are…

Day 10 of GED in 5 months, more salty evidence, and librarians!

Context, Thought, and Learning: ShiraDest Offers Project Do Better

So, if salt is so important, then how would you find evidence that salt is important? For that matter, how would you find evidence that the Crusades really happened? Ask your favorite reference librarian, perhaps, at your local public library branch? One of the key parts of our democracy, and of Phase I of the Four Freedoms movementis libraries, right?

Day 10 Lesson Plan
Grammar activity (fewer vs. less):
Khan Academy activity: Order of Operations

Zaštićena oblast Gvanakasta, Kostarika – Area de Conservación Guanacaste, Costa Rica

Between August and December, 250,000 turtles arrive at Naranhoa and Nancy beaches to lay their eggs. The locals call this event arivada , although it is more reminiscent of a real invasion. But there is no better place in Central America to watch a scene like this. First come the green turtles ( Chelonia mydas ), soon followed by numerous olive tortoises ( Lepidochelys olivacea ), and then those of the giant soft armor ( Dermochelys coriacea)). To prevent the disturbance of these creatures, the Pacific Ocean zone is protected twenty kilometers towards the open sea, and the Guanacaste Protected Area, established by the Costa Rican government in 1989, includes beaches and vast coastal plains, and even stretches across the Cordillera Guanacaste mountain range to the Atlantic.

Myrela

Environmental destruction in San San, Portland, Jamaica: What a travesty

Petchary's Blog

There is a very beautiful area of Jamaica, often described as “lush,” which we have been visiting for around forty years or so now, in the eastern part of the island. It is in the parish of Portland. I have written, shared photos, brought family and friends to stay, spent many happy hours in the area. Every year, BirdLife Jamaica makes a pilgrimage to the area, enjoying a long weekend of birdwatching and companionship, and taking a dip in crystal-blue seas. The place has magic and mystery.

A Jamaican Tody, photographed by me during one of our excursions birdwatching in San San.

The main road is bumpy, narrow and pot-holed, and the surface certainly has been in need of repair for some years. In fact, a few years back I wrote about the neglectthe area in general has suffered for some years. The elite hide and enjoy themselves in…
