El Laberinto de La Serpiente (the Labyrinth of the Snake) Núria Masot #3, Empathy & Amistad/Friendship

Context, Thought, and Learning: ShiraDest Offers Project Do Better

Este libro es mejor que Harry Potter! “pero ¿sabemos lo que en realidad buscaba?” -La amistad, lealtad y la magia, sin magia. Vale la pena leerlo.

This book is better than Harry Potter! “but ¿do we know what he was really looking for?” -Friendship, loyalty, and magic without magic. Worth reading.

Senate vote blocks restaurant COVID-19 financial aid bill – UPI.com

“Today, a Senate filibuster dashed the promise made to more than 177,000 small business owners in communities across the country” National Restaurant Association Vice President Sean Kennedy said in a statement.

“These restaurant owners believed the creation of the Restaurant Revitalization Fund was a down payment, and that the Senate would complete the mission with this vote. A bipartisan majority voted to begin debate on this critical legislation, but it wasn’t the 60 votes needed. While there are valid questions about government spending and inflation, restaurants should not be caught in the crossfire.”

Google is officially leaving Russia | TechRadar

Google is officially done with Russia, after the government seized its local bank accounts and made continuing operations there impossible.

“The Russian authorities’ seizure of Google Russia’s bank account has made it untenable for our Russia office to function, including employing and paying Russia-based employees, paying suppliers and vendors, and meeting other financial obligations,” Google said in a statement to the Wall Street Journal.

Most of Google’s employees in Russia have already left the country, following its invasion of Ukraine, and will continue to work from elsewhere. Sources told the WSJ that many will work from Dubai, where Google has a large office.
