Why Micromanaging Sucks BIG Time

MiddleMe

It is not uncommon for management styles to change to accommodate the changing market. During the pandemic, managers and executives used the opportunity to revise their business strategy to keep up production and sales. Some have made a breakthrough in providing employees with a flexible work setup and extra benefits to help them adapt to the changes.

However, others took to micromanaging because they believed it would help them get things back under control and ensure that the company survives. But, several studies show that micromanagement does the opposite and can cause a business to collapse if it is not corrected immediately.

Here are 5 significant reasons why micromanaging your business sucks and why you shouldn’t do it:

1) It Affects Productivity

When a manager or an employer constantly watches their employees’ every action, it can cause employees to develop paranoia and disable them from working independently. Managers who micromanage…

NANMYKEL.COM

I voted, at the elections office in Athens, Ohio on Thursday.  Trying to keep my mind off the election now, but I’m flabber-d-gasted by the brazen mailbox watchers in Mesa, Arizona.  This is America?  How can they justify that in their mind’s eye?  –Like the Nazi workers at the gas chambers?  SO, trying to turn my attention to other things, I’ve been leafing through an old journal.  I apologize if I repeat something earlier published–my  memory for recent and technical things is on vacation.  [Looooong vacation I fear.]

Human rights are for all (and human rights defenders are not the problem)

Petchary's Blog

It bears repeating that human rights are for all.

All human beings are born free and equal in dignity and rights. They are endowed with reason and conscience and should act towards one another in a spirit of brotherhood.

Everyone has the right to life, liberty and the security of person.

Now, Jamaica is an anxious place currently. Like many others, I myself feel nervous in certain situations when going about my daily business. I wrote about thissense of insecurity. It’s a long list of everyday activities where we feel, well, not quite safe, and find ourselves looking over our shoulders. This is because crime – indeed, violent crime…

Homem Perfeito

Pensamentos.me/VEM comigo!

O Homem perfeito existe?
