We don’t need to wait anyone’s permission

Raffaello Palandri's Blog

Many often forget that we do not need to wait anyone’s permission to start living the life we want and pursuing our true purpose and well-being.

Pensamentos.me/VEM comigo!

Convide-me! É um acontecimento prazeroso, inigualável.

” Se o poeta fosse casto nos seus costumes, os seus versos também o seriam. A pena é a língua da alma: como forem os conceitos que nela se conceberem, assim serão os seus escritos.

Do you trust what you see or read?

On a mission

Do you trust what you see or read?

They say writers can play with words and different meanings will come for different people. But what we see has a flaw. The reason most of the time we see what we want to look at it.

Anyway, in today’s world of digital consumerism, we are more headline readers and make our own stories.

Talking of a story here is one.

There was once a person who always listened to his mind more than his heart and this helped the whole family.

What problems did he face?

1. Of course the spouse thought that there was a trust issue.

2. Every time spouse wanted to get into more detail the topic would get changed. Short-term irritations.

Why was it done?

The explanation by a person any of us wears three masks ( personality ) 1. One for self 2. One for who…

C’mon, Lighten Up and Laugh It Up! 🤣

From Behind the Pen

Sometimes I can get on my own nerves being so serious more often than I care to. Typically, I am not always this way because I love to laugh and have fun. I think that the cares and ills of this world have rattled my sense of humor in a way. I sit, watch, and wonder why people do some of the craziest things without remorse. Yet, it’s obvious that many of these individuals I observe, really don’t give a crap about what I think, nor are they losing sleep at night as I probably would.

So today, join me in lightening up our mood and laughing it up from the depths of our bellies. Allow your funny bone to be tickled and whether or not the whole world is smiling with you, smile anyway! 😊

Squawking over egg prices? Try this.

Darcy Hitchcock

Industrial poultry and egg plants are perfect breeding grounds for disease, perhaps our next pandemic. So as bird flu drives up egg prices to the rafters, this is a perfect time to experiment with plant based alternatives.

Scrambled “eggs”

Granted, it’s hard to fake a fried egg, but tofu can make a pretty good substitute for scrambled eggs. Crumble it up and mix in some turmeric and nutritional yeast along with some veggies. There are numerous recipes online. Here’s one that looks a lot like standard scrambies. This southwest version incorporates red peppers and kale.

Poached, fried, hard boiled

Believe it or not, there’s an egg substitute for those who like to see the yolk.

Yo! Egg is made with common ingredients such as chickpeas, sunflower oil, water, and soy, and it could be the first poached egg alternative that actually tastes and performs like the real thing. The product…

♫ No Easy Walk To Freedom ♫

Filosofa's Word

Tonight’s song is not one you’re likely to remember, nor one that was on your playlist when it was released back in 1986.  It only made it to #173 in the U.S. and did not chart outside the U.S.  However, it is a song with deep meaning, a song that speaks volumes and is a poignant reminder of where we have been, and where we are today as we celebrate Black History Month.

This is the title song of a 1986 studio album by American folk music trio Peter, Paul and Mary. Its release coincided with the group’s 25th anniversary. Produced by John McClure and Peter Yarrow, the album was nominated in 1987 in the Best Contemporary Folk Album category at the 29th Annual Grammy Awards.

The album was their first in almost nine years, and this title song was actually written for Nelson Mandela.  The group sought to connect…
