Is it time to say goodbye to college degrees and continued education as we once knew them forever? Are they worth the paper they are printed on anymore? You know, every time I see some ridiculous decision made to dishonor the value of higher education, especially those who worked extremely hard to achieve and add more value to their educational credentials, as well as those who are probably first-time college graduates in their families, it’s like slinging mud in their face. I feel we are losing a war in the pursuit of higher learning. In the latest move that seems to be gaining momentum around the country, I have to once again ask the same question, on a different stage, are we compromising the integrity of making decisions for educational improvement as some nationwide colleges and universities are becoming obsolete due to a drop in attendance and affordability?

Pudin pistacardos (pudin con pistachos y anacardos)

Os traigo aquí la elaboración de otro pudin tradicional con un toque de pistachos y anacardos.

Ingredientes y elanoración

Ingredientes

1/2 kilo de pan (fresco o ya duro)

1 litro de leche entera

9 huevos

250 gramos de azúcar (integral)

1 chorrito de licor de anís

150 pistachos

150 anacardos

aceite de oliva extra

Elaboración

En una olla o cuenco grande troceamos el pan. Añadimos la leche, los huevos, el licor de anís y el azúcar. Batimos todo muy bien.

Engrasamos con el aceite los recipientes que usemos para cocer el pudin en el horno. Distribuimos la masa creada. Añadimos por encima los anacardos y los pistachos.

Cocemos en el horno durante unos 50 minutos a 180-190º (podemos pinchar con un cuchillo y si sale limpio, ya está cuajado).

Dejar enfriar bien y meter en la nevera (si gusta frío).

Baseless anti-transgender claims fuel adoption of harmful laws – UPI.com

As far back as 2001, Republican lawmakers proposed the first of what are now nearly 900 anti-LGBTQ+ billsMore than 500 of these were introduced in 49 state legislatures and the U.S. Congress during the first five months of 2023. To date, at least 79 have passed.

Many of these anti-trans laws are written and financed by a group of far-right interest groups, including the Alliance Defending Freedom, the Family Research Council, the Liberty Counsel and the American Principles Project.
