
Is it time to say goodbye to college degrees and continued education as we once knew them forever? Are they worth the paper they are printed on anymore? You know, every time I see some ridiculous decision made to dishonor the value of higher education, especially those who worked extremely hard to achieve and add more value to their educational credentials, as well as those who are probably first-time college graduates in their families, it’s like slinging mud in their face. I feel we are losing a war in the pursuit of higher learning. In the latest move that seems to be gaining momentum around the country, I have to once again ask the same question, on a different stage, are we compromising the integrity of making decisions for educational improvement as some nationwide colleges and universities are becoming obsolete due to a drop in attendance and affordability?
