We once had a cat belonging to a neighbour some years ago. It was known as Mr.Grey, because yes, it was grey.
Actually he was quite friendly and often accompanied our cats outside. There were no fights but just quiet relaxing sessions. However, one day the neighbour moved away and Mr. Grey left with her. I still think of him today and wonder if he would still be alive. but probably not. My three cats have been in the mouse hunting chambers for many years now.
As is usual, I’ve sang this song many times, and never once gotten even the first line right. I always, until tonight, thought it was “Wake up in the morning, baby for breakfast”. Oops.
So, here’s the thing. I used to think that being mad was a bad thing. But then, I had a revelation. It’s not. We’ve been taught to label people as ‘mad’ when they’re just, well, a bit crazy.
Reframing ‘Madness’ as ambition can be a powerful tool!
Consider the likes of Steve Jobs, who was often labeled as ‘mad’ for his unconventional ideas, or Vincent Van Gogh, whose artistic brilliance was often misunderstood. It’s about being highly intuned with your goal and working overtime to make the impossible possible. This shift in perspective can empower us to push our limits and achieve what we once thought was unattainable.
Remember, a word can mean whatever you’d like it to mean. If you resonate with the word ‘mad, ‘then give it your empowering meaning and run with it. You have the freedom to choose your meaning, and this independence is empowering. It’s your life, your choices, your empowerment.
If you resonate with the word ‘mad,’ then give it your empowering meaning and run with it. You have the freedom to choose your meaning, and this independence is empowering. If you like it, then that’s all that matters!
My One Line
Go mad, be mad; all of the best people are!
You could have chosen any blog to read, but you chose mine, and I’m honored!
