I’m sure we’ve all seen someone reach their breaking point and actually exceed it. Perhaps this has happened to ourselves at one time. Several years ago, a colleague reached then went beyond his breaking point and went into a rage. Shortly afterwards, he was let go from his job. The incident surprised everyone because the employee always manifested a cool, cheerful demeanor. I’ll never know if he was under some undue pressure at home, his financial situation, or something else. I felt sad that he had reached an emotional breaking point and lost his job as a result…
