Be Kind.
Kindness to others and to myself is crucial for the wellbeing of everyone and I try my best to make this possible. I do not like it if I have been unkind to people. The guilt really makes me feel unwell.
Sometimes I have deliberately been unkind especially to my children in order to teach them life lessons but I know what and why I am doing.
A lot of the time kindness of words is the most important aspect of life. Hearing words that help to get over a hurdle is all that is needed in times of difficulty.
In my job as a doctor empathy is required all the time and that too comes with kindness. To bring happiness is rewarding and makes a life fulfilling.
There was a holiday when my son and I tried doing a kind act everyday. It need not be big. Also watering the plants was being kind. Loved doing the little things with him.
Do try to make a note when you are being kind because that will help you in times of distress. Little and often is going to be good enough. Much love to you all.
