It’s not always about how much we do, but what we can do with the time we have. It’s not always about what we didn’t get done with the time we had, but how much we got done with the time we used.
It’s digestible to utilize time when we understand our purpose, our mission, and our path. Do we linger too long or too short in a space of time, where activity versus productivity are at odds?
In our circle of influence let’s expand our sphere of love, compassion, goodness, and hope. Through acts of kindness and service, let us not waste our time or our talents.
What we do with our time and how we utilize it is part of our legacy. How will we be remembered for what we did and what we contributed with our time? Become the salt and light for the whole world to taste, savor, and see.

..Decaying oil and gas pipelines left to fall apart in the North Sea could release large volumes of poisons such as mercury, radioactive lead and polonium-210, notorious for its part in the poisoning of Russian defector Alexander Litvinenko, scientists are warning.
Mercury, an extremely toxic element, occurs naturally in oil and gas. It sticks to the inside of pipelines and builds up over time, being released into the sea when the pipeline corrodes.
Some methylmercury, the most toxic form of the metal, is released by the pipelines although other forms can be converted into it. The international Minamata convention on mercury states that high levels in dolphins, whales and seals can lead to “reproductive failure, behavioural changes and even death”. Seabirds and large predatory fish such as tuna and swordfish are also particularly vulnerable…

…It was hunters who first reported, in 2003, that an estimated 20,000 muskoxen had starved to death on Banks Island, in Canada’s High Arctic, following an October rain-on-snow event. It happened again in the winters of 2013-2014 and in 2020-2021, when tens of thousands of reindeer died on Siberia’s Yamal Peninsula.
In both places, the rain had hardened the snow and, in some places, produced ice, which made it almost impossible for the animals to dig down and reach the lichen, sedges, and other plants they need to survive the long winter.
Kyle Joly, a wildlife biologist with the U.S. National Park Service, views an increase in rain-on-snow events as yet another serious challenge for the world’s 2.4 million caribou, which have been in rapid decline pretty much everywhere over the past three generations. The ebbing numbers are a huge concern for northern Indigenous people who rely on caribou for food. Public health experts fear that Indigenous health will be seriously compromised if the animals can no longer be hunted.

Words dissolve on paper awakening an invocation from my waking heart as I lay my heart down upon my dreams I surrender to the rush of your touch I embrace the unknown raking my thoughts my heart and my mind learns and then unlearns in the quiet of my quintessential soul I feel hope’s touch her finger on my pulse.

In life’s vast sea, we may stumble like stones,
Bearing trials heavy, destiny’s somber tones…
But atop waves, like buoyant wood, we soar,
Guided by resilience, skill our compass sure…
*
Unfettered by destiny, inner power in control,
Through life’s tumult, navigating the soul…
As stones find depths in water’s embrace,
Buoyancy within us, our unwavering grace…
