You can feel it. You can’t define what it is, you just know it’s approaching. There comes a time in our life when we have witnessed the transformation, ebbs, flows, and transition life offers, and wonder what happened and how we got here. But like a gear on a vehicle (and for those who know how to drive a manual with a stick shift as we called it back in the day) you might wake up one day and have a strange feeling that something is about to happen, and you may have to shift to a lower gear to get a better feel for the new environment conditions. The feeling may not be a bad one, it’s just your spirit and stomach fluttering with an expected uneasiness. There is a seismic shift that we can’t define, we just know that it is occurring.
When things shift and you can sense something is going on atmospherically, we need to stop, take a breather, and understand that our senses are heightened for a reason. Adjusting to the conditions of the new changes may not be something we want to do, but have to do it. So, it may feel like the “Fasten Your Seatbelt” sign has flashed on just in case there is unexpected turbulence ahead.
