In a shed made of boards and tarps, one-year old Nune is in deep sleep as his mother Check Srey-Toy gently rocks his hammock. Then she tells me that she sells her breast milk to the US. They have no front door. Privacy is a sheet of cloth drawn across an opening. A gas burner on the ground. A saucepan with leftover porridge. “It’s been three months. Since I started”, Check Srey-Toy tells Arbetet Global.
The demand for breast milk has increased and is now a commodity on international markets. The US company Ambrosia Lab have donators in several different countries. They target US mothers who pay close to 25 dollars for a bag of just under 150 millilitres of milk.
Wilhelm Brasse was compelled to take mug shots of the prisoners in Auschwitz, the Nazi extermination camp. “I tried to calm them,’ he later confided. He made studio portraits of the SS guards, too, and became popular with them, with a reputation for being able to put his subjects at ease. He told one officer to “sit comfortably, relax and think about your fatherland” before taking his picture. Brasse’s photographic skills certainly saved his life.
Given Trump had a long history of trying to do business with Russia in the 90’s and then later with the Miss Universe pageant, it’s not unreasonable to assume that Russia’s security services would have files on him. It would be unusual if they didn’t. The Czech’s are said to have had files on him as far back as the 1970s.Usually though you wouldn’t reveal your trump card publicly as your leverage would be lost – unless, of course, you had an entirely different plan in mind. The Kremlin labels allegations about the tapes existence as ‘pulp fiction’ but there must be some form of quiet enjoyment it’s reveling in as it watches the US tear itself apart. First with the hacking allegations and the role it may have played in getting Trump elected, and now with talks of impeachment before he’s even sworn in. It’s a disaster. Utter political disarray. And if Trump is looking for support at home, he may have to change his tune as, let’s face it, he hasn’t got off on a great start with his own intelligence agencies. If he doesn’t, they may well rain on his parade. And all of this as Russia enjoys its Orthodox Christmas. Who could ask for more? Putin speaks fluent German so perhaps the word that’s floating through his mind as he gazes across the square from the Kremlin to the Ritz Carlton – feeling a little inner glow – is schadenfreude.
A man, seen in surveillance video as wearing a gray hoodie and holding what appears to be a gun, entered Lotions & Lace in San Bernardino on Wednesday night at about 9:45 p.m., just 15 minutes before the shop closed. He was seen striding through the racks of lingerie to the counter where he immediately encountered two female employees and demanded the cash from their till. But, the alleged robber got more than he bargained for when one employee—identified by ABC 7 only as Amy—decided she didn’t have time for his shenanigans.”I just thought he was trying to be funny, to scare us. But then I saw the gun and it was like, really? I don’t have time for this,” she said.Amy suspected that the gun he was carrying was a fake, and was not scared. She instead described herself as “really irritated.” The video depicts the two employees yelling at the man and flinging a variety of sex toys at him until he leaves the shop.

When the pastor of a Modesto church went to a firearms safety class, he was reportedly hoping to protect himself “from potential dangers.” But the dangerous situation found him, when the instructor of the course appeared to confuse his demonstration gun with his real one, and shot the clergyman in the classroom.Tom Smith is the “Family Life Pastor” at The House Modesto, a seemingly massive Christian church in the Central Valley city. He was a student at a firearms-related self-defense class at Modesto’s Personal Protection Institute on December 5 when, Fox 40 reported Tuesday night, the instructor of the course shot him during “a role-playing scenario.”According to the Modesto Bee, instructor Phillip Rushing had used “a training gun, a rubber fake with no firing mechanism,” during the class, but “as the class was ending…he removed that prop from his holster and replaced it with his real handgun.”That’s when a student asked Rushing how to manage an attacker armed with a knife. Smith volunteered to play the attacker role and “During the scenario, the instructor drew the firearm and it accidentally discharged,” Modesto Police Department spokesperson Heather Graves says.Smith was struck on his right side just above his hip, Fox 40 reports, and has been in the hospital ever since.
Several members of Indonesia’s House of Representatives say they will report the speaker and a deputy speaker to the House’s Ethics Council over a controversial appearance the two made at a campaign event for US billionaire Donald Trump.House Speaker Setya Novanto and Fadli Zon, one of his deputies, appeared at a press conference in New York last week held by Trump, who wants to run for president of the United States.
“I was visiting from California when I met him. I was with a bridal shower at a bar on Long Island, and he seemed so different than all the other guys there. We danced for hours, and then we went outside and sat on a dock and talked all night long. We spent the next three weeks together before I returned home. Soon he came out to visit me, and when he left, believe it or not, he put a Humans of New York book on my bed with a letter inside that said: ‘I want you to come to New York.’ So I did, and we dated for a year. Then he dumped me on Valentine’s Day.”
