Troye was so concerned about the situation here in El Paso, she actually drove all the way here from D.C to bring her mom out of the area.

“She’s been alone in her little place for several months now, and watching what’s happening here in El Paso now is just so devastating to me and I know it’s a very dire situation and it’s critical and I can’t imagine having her isolate for several more months,” she said.

El Paso Times shows readers image of COVID-19 death spikes

A hospital spokesman who asked that care be used in publishing the photos echoed the need for change in our community’s response to this grave threat.

He described the suffering of COVID-19 patients as they fight to breathe – for life – inside the hospital as doctors, nurses and other medical staff are overrun by El Paso’s surge in positive cases.

He made an ominous prediction.

“Some people will celebrate Thanksgiving for the last time,” he said. “They will become infected by someone who is asymptomatic at a family gathering.”

Nós vemos você Tentamos te mostrar Você nunca se preocupou em aprender nossa língua Você estava sempre olhando para baixo

Avisamos desde o início
A terra está viva
Este terreno não pode ser possuído
Esta terra somos nós
Todos nós

Voce queria as pedras
Ouro
Suas coisas brilhantes
Títulos – Bandeiras – Lucros
Você chamou de progresso

Tentamos te ensinar
Mas você sempre foi tão ganancioso

Demais primitivo – demais selvagem

Agora você ainda traz maldições sobre os Yanomami
Doenças

Cinco séculos
Você nunca olhou para cima para descobrir
o que seguramos no lugar
