En route to another corona closure? Gov’t to convene on Wednesday – The Jerusalem Post

“We have missed the ‘tightened restrain’ train,” Edelstein said during a visit to a senior living center where vaccination was launched on Tuesday. “We wasted precious time and the infection rate leaves us no choice but to close.” According to the Health Ministry, there were 3,594 new cases on Monday – some 4.2% of people screened tested positive. When adjusted to remove those who were screened as part of general virus surveys, the percentage is around 5%.  Of all those who were infected, 472 were in serious condition and 119 were on ventilators. The death toll hit 3,111.

This vaccination by faith is a united effort across multi-faith traditions and religions.

A Statement of Intent has been signed by leaders to build trust and community confidence during this seasonal and pandemic time of darkness. As other leaders step forward, their signatures will continue to be added to the Statement. Leaders will take their selfie-shot when the time occurs and these will be disseminated through media stories and social media to go viral as a lead example to other cities, including Sister Cities and Compassionate Cities.
