Rocky Mount cops claim innocence during Capitol riots, but federal warrant says otherwise

photo In another video shared in the same conversation as the first, the warrant details that Fracker appeared to be on the outside of the Capitol. He turns the camera toward himself wearing the same gas mask and then while holding the camera away from himself, a person believed to be Fracker moves up the steps of the Capitol and past a barrier. About two minutes into the video, Fracker yells “Let’s f****** go!” In a third shared video, Fracker again turns the camera on himself inside the Capitol and is seen wearing the same clothing and a gas mask. In the background someone in the crowd yells “Pelosi!”

According to the warrant, after sending the three videos and a photo of himself to the friend, Fracker said, “We did hahaha it was f****** amazing. Flash bangs going off, CS gas, rubber bullets flying by. Felt so good to be back in the s*** hahaha I was like the 8th person inside the building, s*** was f****** LIT.”

Later in the conversation, as the warrant details, Fracker said, “I haven’t been that hyped up since f****** Nowzad hahaha.”

The investigator stated that Nowzad is a town in Afghanistan and said they, “believe that Fracker was comparing his experiences in the Capitol with his time in Afghanistan.”

Fracker also told the friend, “Don’t share these. Just thought you should know there’s hitter out here trying to make a f****** difference at any cost.”

The day following the riot, the warrant says Fracker replied to a comment on Facebook made by a friend saying “Freedrom 2020. F*** commies. F*** tyranny. And f*** anyone int he way of a free America.

On December 19, 2020, three weeks before the riot, the warrant says Robertson commented on Facebook, “Civility has left me. I’m tired of always taking the high road and being beat by those who cheat, lie and steal to win and then allow their media to paint me as the bad guy. I won’t be disenfranchised. I’ll follow the path our founders gave us. Redress of grievances (already done) civil disobedience (here now) and then open armed rebellion. I’ve spent the last 10 years fighting an insurgency in Iraq and then Afghanistan. I’m prepared to start one here and known a bunch of like minded and trained individuals.”

BE SIMPLE, NO COMPLEX!!

Soni's thoughts

Hello pals, today i am back with a most common topic ‘Complexity’ (its not simple/compound/complex logic though 😉)Guys i boggle sometimes, why we need a complex feeling inside us? Why everything and everyone has to be complex but not simple, straight and clear? Is it required?? No right?? Still it develops inside maximum persons…not sure why it does😐 including me (yes many times i have gone through inferiority complex, slowly improving myself)

Sad feeling, happy feeling, angry feeling are totally ok, as they are natural…but developing a complexity inside us is quite dangerous sometimes for us only…Be it because of some peoples behavior, or activities or anything, still we really must not let it faze us at any cost.Complexity always grows because of insecurity on something… unsurity on something…Its nothing but stacked of dissapointment on our ownself on some matter, which keeps revolving inside us for…

Report Finds Extremists Did Use Facebook to Plan Capitol Attack

NBC News reports:

A number of pro-Trump extremists used Facebook to plan their attack on the U.S. Capitol, a watchdog organization has found, contradicting claims by Facebook’s leadership that such planning was largely done on other sites.

Private Facebook groups spent months advising one another about how to “take down” the U.S. government, particularly after Joe Biden was elected president, according to a report from the nonprofit Tech Transparency Project, which tracked several of them. Many of the groups specifically talked about traveling to the Capitol on Jan. 6, the date Congress counted the electoral votes that affirmed Biden’s victory.”Calls to ‘occupy Congress’ were rampant on Facebook in the weeks leading up to the deadly Capitol riot, making no secret of the event’s aims,” the report found… A sample recruitment call by a page called “Florida Patriots” said, “We are actively seeking well armed citizens to join our emergency response unit in all zones.”
BuzzFeed News notes the report contradicts earlier remarks from Sheryl Sandberg deflecting blame for the event:

Last week, Facebook Chief Operating Officer Sheryl Sandberg said the company had acted appropriately to prevent election misinformation and the incitement of violence, and attempted to pin the blame on smaller websites and apps with less content moderation. “I think these events were largely organized on platforms that don’t have our abilities to stop hate, don’t have our standards, and don’t have our transparency,” Sandberg said in an interview with Reuters.

Facebook spokespeople have since tried to walk this statement back, noting that Sandberg made the point earlier in the interview that the platform played a role in fomenting the unrest.

FAA employee from Beaumont charged with taking part in US Capitol riot – San Gabriel Valley Tribune

A member of the FAA’s internal investigations department notified the FBI a day after the siege that Strong had been at the Capitol, the affidavit said.

Strong faces three charges: violent entry and disorderly conduct on Capitol grounds, entering or remaining in a restricted area, and being disorderly or disruptive in a restricted area.

Strong works for the FAA in San Bernardino, and the FBI began investigating him on Dec. 30, a week before a violent mob stormed the Capitol.

The investigation began after someone told the agency that Strong “had been showing signs of behavioral changes over the last few months including stockpiling items and telling others to get ready for marshal law, rioting, and protesting,” the FBI affidavit said.

The FBI was told that Strong had claimed World War III was going to occur on Jan. 6 and that the extremist group QAnon would cover the debt for a new truck he recently had purchased.

The story of a song that’s been stuck in my head nearly all my life

You know how sometimes a song gets stuck in your head? Even one that you haven’t heard in a very long time? Yesterday, while I was picnicking in a nearby park, “The Wayward Wind,” by Gogi Grant, traveled out of my head and into the air as a light breeze ruffled the edges of the purple comforter I was sitting on.

Although I had fled to the park in the midst of a quarantine cabin fever attack, there was something about the breeze, the restless wind, that eased my mind.

The song was a favorite of my brother Peter when he was a young boy. I don’t remember his actual age but he was still young enough for his big sister to babysit him. He would beg me to call into the radio station we listened to and request the song over and over. Sometimes I even changed my name so they wouldn’t know it was the same person calling so many times in one day. At least that’s what I told myself.

Peter assured me that I was so good at changing my voice that no one would ever know.

“Sometimes you even sound like a boy.”

As life played out, a wayward wind blew me from Virginia to New York to Montreal and finally California. And that is where I met her. When I read in the paper that Gogi Grant was performing locally, I told George the story about Peter and said, “I have to go see her.”

“Let’s do it,” said George. One of the things I loved best about my late husband was his enthusiasm for my enthusiasm.

I called Gogi’s press contact and told her my story. She arranged for me to see the show and meet the singer after for an interview. I reserved an extra ticket for George and we were off.

“I’m going to meet ‘The Wayward Wind,’” I emailed Peter.

Gogi did not disappoint. On stage, she sounded just like she did on the radio all those years ago. It was as though her voice never aged. She laughed that we were probably responsible for her recording topping the charts with all the phone requests to the radio station. Peter and I like to think that we contributed just a little.

The song is still stuck in my head. And I’m happy with the company.
