Mr. I know it all

Lyrical smile

You choose to be selfish you see.

You govern us every time but you never get satisfied with it.

You care about your own damn life for you never considered us a family.

“We have always been a headache of yours” this is what you like to put everytime when you say you care about us but not enough to give a damn about how we feel.

The ego in your veins has eaten everything inside you, once you set your mind to go you never turn back at us.

You are happy in your own world with the arrogance of ‘I know it all’ but know nothing about how ideal you could be to me.

I ponder if I weren’t to be related to you by blood then who would I refer to you as. I wouldn’t even hate you even then for I would have to manage a…

Kiwis Over the Pacific

Pacific Paratrooper

Flight Officer, Geoff Fisken

During early World War II operations in the Pacific, Geoff Fisken would become one of the most outstanding pilots of the RNZAF—the Royal New Zealand Air Force.

Fisken was born in Gisborne, New Zealand, in 1918, and during the 1930s he learned to fly a de Havilland Gypsy Moth biplane. In 1939, Fisken was working for a farmer in Masterton, and at the outbreak of war in Europe he volunteered for flying duty.  In October 1941, as the threat of war with Japan was increasing, No. 67 Squadron was moved to Mingaladon, Burma, but Fisken was posted instead to No. 243 Squadron RAF.

With the Japanese attacks across East Asia and the western Pacific on December 8, 1941, No. 243 Squadron was assigned to defend the Royal Navy’s Force Z––the battleship HMS Prince of Walesand battlecruiser HMS Repulse. Two days later the British warships…

A Tad Of Snark … Well, Maybe More Than A Tad

Filosofa's Word

I have a bit of snarky in my fingertips tonight, it seems.  But, I shall start with what I consider the positive news …

The President is doing okay …

Overall, President Biden’s approval rating is quite good, all things considered.  Especially when compared to the last guy … Today, Biden’s approval rating stands at 53.8% per an aggregate of polls … a number never once reached by the former guy in four years, and in fact his highest at any point was 45.5%.  Check out two recent polls … NBC and CBS respectively …

And even Fox ‘News’ has Biden with a 54% approval rating!

What is it, exactly, that people approve of?  He gets the highest marks for things related to his handling of the pandemic, such as vaccine rollout and the pandemic relief package.  His lowest rankings are on immigration, as was to be expected, given the…

My feminism

thefeministwriterwhogoesmeh

Hello my people. I know that I said a (freakishly) short time ago that I am on hiatus due to the fact that I am writing a ✨book✨. However, I ended up finishing the writing extremely fast (I couldn’t stop once I started, much to the disgruntlement of my parents, hehe). Ze publishing will take place later.

And so, I am back!

Yay! (I missed my blogue).

And I have finally decided to write something based on feminism, seeing as I am the feministwriterwhogoesmeh!

So many exclamation marks!

My friend sent me a video yesterday. It was a woman explaining feminism to people who didn’t identify as feminists. Here it is:

And then my friend reminisced about a time when our history teacher asked our class the following question:

How many of you identify as feminists?

And guess what?

I was the only person in the entire class to raise…

Recipe : Soya Chili Dry

Inhale Peace; Exhale Love. Joy will Follow! - RUELHA

About a dozen years ago, I purchased a packet of soya chunks and attempted to cook it in an extremely healthy way. Back then, I was an amateur cook. So, that really didn’t end up tasting palatable. Since I am an absolute carnivore and there are lesser steps involved in preparing meat; also considering the higher bio availability in natural unprocessed proteins, I bid adieu to soya forever. After many years, I decided I should attempt to befriend soya again. I distinctly remember the flavours and things that went wrong with my last experiment a decade ago. So, I was extra cautious as to not repeat those mistakes and viola, I formulated and made a lip smacking dish. This recipe here is so yum, I think I’ll be making this quite often.

Ingredients:

  • 1.5 cups mini soya nuggets
  • salt
  • 1/2 tsp chili powder
  • 1 tsp seasoned spices
  • 2.5tbsp maida/all purpose…
