Asked if she was afraid for her life after the death of Banat, Harhash told the Post: “Of course I’m afraid. I’m not the only one who’s afraid. There are several other activists and journalists who are very worried. There is no difference between those who torched my car and those who killed Nizar Banat. They want to silence us; they want to intimidate us. The killing of Banat was aimed at sending a warning to people like me that we must keep our mouths shut in the face of this US-backed corrupt, totalitarian and criminal regime.” Source: US emboldening crackdown on activists, Palestinian writer tells Post – The Jerusalem Post

Let’s eat to feed our souls in 5 Simple Steps.
Good advice backed with facts!
How tempting it sounds, If I tell you you can actually feed your soul through the food you take. We all knowingly or unknowingly are actually feeding not just our hungry stomachs but we often try to nourish our lanky souls. You would agree to this, whenever you feel upset you try to reach to a chocolate or that delicious slice of cake to cheer yourself up. Often emotional eating habits land us into being obese or even into auto immune disorders. A recent Finnish studypublished from Department of Public Health at the University of Helsinki, Finland, found that the immune system seems to play a significant role in eating disorders. In fact, the research revealed that 8.9% of participants with eating disorders also had an autoimmune disease compared to 5.4% of healthy participants. If we try to get more deeper into this we will realise that more we start…

Little Musicians
I am a listener of birdsongs Their rhythmic cadence carries me along. Drenching the senses by their consonance Sheer beauty of lyrical opulence. They chase the anguish from my heart Refresh the space of routes they chart. Orchestrating ballads as the sun comes out Little musicians warbling in nature's hangout. To harmonize the atmosphere With sounds of goodwill and cheer. In the soft caress of zephyr that carries Symphony of ditties over meadows, valleys. Across expanse of the cosmos Embracing the world with melodic notes. Without syllables in their descant Their aria sounds like a meaningful chant. The sky smiles as their laughter resounds In empyrean's cerulean playground. Like rainbow clouds that light up the sky I scribble words in the air and let them fly. It's like tasting the air, becoming alive When birds sing, it's like a fresh round of air supply.
