Involtini di mopur al sugo

InTheNameOfSeitan

There Outta Be A Law!

Filosofa's Word

There is currently no law in the U.S. that says a convicted felon cannot run for public office all the way up to the presidency.  Crazy, right?  You’ll likely remember the Bundy brothers – Ammon and Ryan – and their father, Cliven, who came to fame in 2014 when they engaged in an armed standoff with Bureau of Land Management agents at their Bunkerville, Nevada, ranch amid a dispute over the father Cliven Bundy’s refusal to pay grazing fees.  All three were indicted and served jail time.

Then in 2016, Ammon gained further notoriety over a protest at the Malheur national wildlife refuge – part of a campaign to force the federal government to turn public land over to states.

Bundy was arrested twice last year at Idaho’s state capitol after leading a march to protest Idaho’s stay-at-home pandemic order and was later charged with criminal trespass for disrupting a…

Insurrection Update #7

In Saner Thought

I have taken upon myself to keep the memory of the events in and around the 06 January in the minds of my readers…….NOTHING about that day should ever be forgotten.

I will try to write about the events of the day and any info that pertains to the situation in the continuing saga of the insurrection……

These militias…those overweight in- bred mental midgets some of the same thinking has flexed it’s muscle in Washington (the state not the city)….

Tensions are rising in Whidbey Island, Seattle, after residents say a right-wing extremist group is tearing the fabric of the community apart, The Daily Beast reports.

The tension started when the The Washington III Percent militia took control of the local Grange association (a community gathering place) and began rejecting membership applications from anyone not aligned with them. Now, III Percenter flags and bumper stickers have increasingly popped up around…

Se posicione, a vida adora isso.

Pensamentos.me/VEM comigo!

Pensamentos.me/ VEM comigo!

Vivaldi translation: Learn to fight for your rights.
The only concrete truth we have is the scientific one, and look there. Every ten, fifteen years it can be modified. It is or it is not. Evidently it is! What I am saying to you here is this: learn to fight for your rights, to question and not to expect ready answers. Be a critical person? Learn to position yourself, speak, say what seems right and wrong. See, I’m not telling you to call yourself “the owner of the truth” because the truth doesn’t exist. This is at most an endless search.
I understand that a large part of human decay, failures themselves, come precisely from this impotence to deal with what is real, that is, problems. If you notice, many people crying to what others throw at them (politics), it is an example of what I am talking about. The many prophecies, or the so-called “magic formulas” to solve our many problems, build nothing but our imagination. Believe them, of course – it is important. However, we were not satisfied, because if we do, corruption is an open-door maternity, if you know what I mean …
Question … always. A lucid person, he will never be satisfied with stupidity.

Pensamentos.me/VEM comigo!

Imagine A Country Like This

In Saner Thought

This is an excellent look at the direct of this country through the pen of Paul Street……

Imagine a nation so reactionary and racist that “Black Lives Matter” is considered a “radical slogan” inside its borders.

Imagine a nation so racially unequal that the median household wealth of its Black households is equal to 7 cents on the dollar of its median white households.

Imagine a nation so sexist that its women make 82 cents for every dollar men make while 15% to 20% of its women have been raped and girls and women are regularly subjected to sexual harassment and domestic violence.

Imagine a nation so sexist that its women’s rights to control their own bodies and reproductive decisions are under constant patriarchal assault.

Imagine a nation so racist that its states pass laws suppressing the votes of non-whites and forbidding honest teaching about the country’s long and ongoing…

Thoughtful Thursdays, Stayed on Freedom’s Call page 22, and Farther Along

Context, Thought, and Learning: ShiraDest Offers Project Do Better

It is crucial that we each help our society to become more fully inclusive for all of us today, and to come and work together, for all of us, right?

“we will understand it all…”

I believe that attention to shared histories, as in DC, may provide part of an answer.  I started a note about that, a few years ago, in my book Stayed on Freedom’s Call:

” … Chapter 3: Shepherd Park: Integration Starts In The Home
Keeping the Neighborhood Integrated: Neighbors, and T.I.

“We will understand it all, by and by”

-from Marvin Caplan ́s favorite song, “Farther Along”

When “Boss” Alexander R. Shepherd ́s mansion still stood, 16 th Street was Embassy Row, and in elite White society the three Patton sisters were rumored to be the fastest form of communication in Washington, DC. After the
1940 ́s, it became known as “Little Jerusalem.”…

« You don’t understand why we want to protect our forest? Ask me, I will answer you! – We want our children to grow up here laughing! – Today I refuse to let them die from the gold smoke!  Chase the gold miners out of our home! »

Barbara Crane Navarro

Yanomamiwoman, Amazonas, Venezuela

« You don’t understand why we want to protect our forest? Ask me, I will answer you! Our ancestors were created with it in the beginning of time. Since then, our people have eaten its game and its fruit. We want our children to grow up here laughing. In the past, many of our people perished from your epidemics. Today I refuse to let their children and grandchildren die from the gold smoke! Chase the gold miners out of our home! They are harmful beings whose thought is dark. They are metal eaters covered in deadly xawara epidemicsmoke. »

  • Yanomami spokesperson and shaman Davi Kopenawa

30% of what is now recognized as ancestral indigenous lands are in danger of being «legally» opened to gold mining and other extractive operations as well as logging and industrial agriculture. The bill that would permit this atrocity, PL490 – already…

Gold mining and Amazon deforestation – hydraulic mining known as the”chupadeira system”is a form of gold mining that uses high-pressure jets of water to dislodge rock material or move sediment. Prospectors deforest the designated work area and then excavate down to the level of ore-bearing material. Large and deep holes are made in the former forest land. Mercury is…
