From, not For victory
Inhale Peace; Exhale Love. Joy will Follow! - RUELHA
I know every dialogue from this movie by heart! This scene embedded below has some of the best dialogue deliveries. It’s epic if you understand the reference. And if you don’t, just marvel at Brad Pitt’s chiseled jawline. This movie compelled me to research a bit of Greek mythology. And then with Chris Hemsworth playing Thor later, Greek mythology became really fascinating.
From, not For victory – poem by Ruelha
I don't fight for victory I'm not a loser though, just hear me! I've not seen the end Sure, there'll be many curves and bends But I know how it ends Victorious I ascend! Somehow, anyhow, I'll be the last one standing Maybe my current performance ain't outstanding But, wait till the end Watch it all transcend I was born for victory Not in the lap of misery I won't let anyone tell me otherwise Because if I focus on…

BioNTech says it could tweak Covid vaccine in 100 days if needed | Vaccines and immunisation | The Guardian
BioNTech says it could produce and ship an updated version of its vaccine within 100 days if the new Covid variant detected in southern Africa is found to evade existing immunity.
The German biotechnology company is already investigating whether the vaccine it developed with US drugmaker Pfizer works well against the variant, named Omicron, which has caused concern due to its high number of mutations and initial suggestions that it could be transmitting more quickly.
The company says it will know in two weeks whether its current vaccine is likely to be sufficiently effective against the B.1.1.529 variant, now named Omicron by the World Health Organization, based on lab-based experiments.

DC area schools to discipline employees who have not reported vaccination status | TheHill
While the vast majority of staffers at these schools are already vaccinated, some have been placed on leave and at least one has been fired, The Washington Post reported this week.
At Montgomery County Public Schools, Maryland’s largest school district, more than 460 employees will receive a letter of reprimand and lose a day’s worth of pay for failure to report their vaccine status, Chris Cram, a spokesperson for the district, told the Post.
Elsewhere in Maryland, Prince George’s County Public Schools terminated an employee for not adhering to its vaccination policies, which allowed for a testing option. While other employees in the county have also been placed on leave, spokeswoman Meghan Gebreselassie said the system did not know the exact number of people who had been reprimanded as each case was usually handled at the school or office level, the Post reported.

Patel’s citizenship-stripping bill would accelerate UK race to the bottom | openDemocracy
Now Home Secretary Priti Patel also wants the power to deprive people of their citizenship without notice. Not only is this an attack on fundamental principles of justice and international law, it will inevitably target minorities and those of migrant heritage overwhelmingly. Attempting to justify the tactic, the Home Office has resorted to a discredited and alarming argument: that citizenship is a privilege, not a right.

Real Dreams in Dream Reality
Inhale Peace; Exhale Love. Joy will Follow! - RUELHA
The song ‘Sweet Dreams’ by LaBouche was released in the mid-’90s and was a major hit. I still remember it was the second song on side B of one of my recorded cassettes. It takes me back to my glory days and makes me smile{not dream 😉 }. And, just like all my music-inspired poems, I suggest playing the song{which I have embedded below for your convenience} as you read; it truly elevates the experience!
Real Dreams in Dream Reality poem by Ruelha
Dreams are reality; reality is just a dream! When I close my eyes, nothing is as it seems Dreams are reality; reality is but a dream! When my peepers are shut, everything fits within my colour scheme Sweet dreams of rhythmic passion Laced with non-verbal interaction Dancing through the night As if everything were alright Fantasy is a form of relief When reality is all about grief…

Recipe: Banana Pancakes/ Banana Fritters
Inhale Peace; Exhale Love. Joy will Follow! - RUELHA
Bananas are easily available everywhere here. It’s the cheapest of all the fruits, just 3 bucks for one, loaded with potassium, minerals, vitamins, and fiber. But unfortunately, they ripen so quickly and cannot be stored too long. Sometimes, we’re left with overripe bananas that are unsightly with those blackened spots and mushy texture. But honestly speaking, they’re a lot healthier that way. I cannot discard food; I cannot waste food. I have too much respect for it. Usually, I just make a banana cake or banana fritters/pancakes. Pancakes and fritters are a whole lot quicker and easier than cakes, so …..
Ingredients: makes 2 pancakes/8-10 fritters
- 1 overripe banana, mashed
- 1/2 cup all purpose flour
- 1 tbsp butter {optional, but it’s lovely with}
- 100ml milk approximately, to adjust the consistency {little thinner than cake batter}
- 1 tsp vanilla essence
- 3- 4 tbsp. Sugar
- 2 pinches of baking soda
Method:

Mash…
