A Christmas poem…of sorts…

Lolsys Library

Christmas isn’t a present, or food

It’s a feeling deep down,

A feeling of joy and love,

of wanting peace for all people kind.

Santa Claus is real,

It’s a feeling deep down,

He comes still comes every Christmas Eve,

but this year I hope he brings joy.

Santa Claus is real,

He is watching us when we’re sleeping, and he does watch us when we’re awake.

He knows we need to be better,

so be better for goodness sake.

McDonald’s Co. (Japan) will only offer french fries in small sizes as potato imports from North America have been delayed due to flooding near a Vancouver port and a worldwide logistics disruption caused by the COVID-19 pandemic.

The sale of medium- and large-size fries will be stopped from Friday to Dec. 30 as the potato supply falls, McDonald’s said in a statement on Tuesday. The hamburger chain continues to sell small-size offerings as it tries to make sure customers can enjoy the popular item despite the shortage.

Banks and private equity companies are pouring billions on a massive fracked gas pipeline to cross Wet’suwet’en territory: Coastal GasLink.

Indigenous Hereditary chiefs and supporters have responsibilities to defend the sacred, pristine headwaters of the Wedzin Kwa, in Wet’suwet’en law. They hold uninterrupted title to the land, in colonial law. For peacefully acting in accordance with…
