Intimate partner violence against women: a persistent and urgent challenge – The Lancet

Intimate partner violence is a huge challenge worldwide that has considerable implications for women’s health and wellbeing, as well as the wellbeing of families and communities that are affected by such violence and the underlying inequitable gender norms. Even though the Sustainable Development Goals call for the elimination of violence against women and girls by 2030, evidence from several countries suggests that the burden of intimate partner violence has actually increased during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Esas historias me atraían e interesaban.
