I’m sorry I can’t turn off the light to light a dim candle in the night those who have died needlessly needs more light to guide them home I shall turn on the light on the verandah, the footpath in the bloodshot eyes of blooming flowers in the garden the dragging shadows of the neon glow like swords severing the dark I want to erect the sunlight 24 hours of sleeplessness the uncountable soul dying in the dark amidst the living in the shadows of the night pointless is a single candle light where where are the brilliant stadium lights erect them in the five vital organs light up the bloody flooding gushing through pieces of silent flesh… November 2021
