What can I say? I’m feeling all mushy, and the feeling of love is washing all over me. I blame the season and the weather, which always make me feel nostalgic and appreciative. I want to give everyone I see a tight hug and warm wishes, but if I do that, I might get the cops called on me.

So I’ll keep my hands to myself and choose to smile at my passer buyers instead!

So, today’s words are wrapped and built around love. I would love to read what all of you can add to this theme.
~Love found me and everything changed~

Philadelphia District Attorney Larry Krasner filed a lawsuit on Monday to keep Elon Musk’s political action committee, which is backing former President Donald Trump, from giving $1 million awards to registered voters in swing states.
The lawsuit alleges Musk and the America PAC’s use of the cash prizes amounts to an illegal lottery and requested an injunction to block the daily award.

In the past week, extremist settlers have intensified their attacks on Palestinian olive harvesters in Bethlehem Governorate, assaulting them and stealing the olives they gathered in multiple locations.
The extremist Israeli settlers Sunday evening stole the olive harvest of Palestinian locals in the village of Harmallah, southeast of Bethlehem, said security sources.
Local sources said that colonists stole the olive harvest of the Sabbah family in the Ain Hamda area on the main street in Harmallah.
The occupation forces and colonist have escalated their attacks on olive harvesters in Bethlehem and other provinces.
Since the beginning of the olive harvest season, Palestinian farmers have been subjected to almost daily attacks by settlers, involving physical assaults, property destruction, the forcible expulsion of farmers at gunpoint, the release of livestock onto their land and crop theft.
Also, Israeli settlers, under the protection of the Israeli occupation forces, attacked Palestinian olive pickers in the village of Kisan, east of Bethlehem…

A Lebanese family was holding a Sunday gathering when an Israeli strike toppled their building.
It was Sunday, family time for most in Lebanon, and Hecham al-Baba was visiting his sister. She insisted he and their older brother stay for lunch, hoping to prolong the warm gathering in stressful times.
The brother declined. Like many in Lebanon, he hadn’t been sleeping because of Israel’s intensifying airstrikes, so he left to take a nap.
The 60-year-old al-Baba, on his annual visit from Germany to see his family in Lebanon, stayed. His sister Donize even convinced him to call an old flame over for coffee. He excitedly stepped into the bathroom to clean up before his visitor arrived.
Within seconds, a huge boom shook the basement apartment. Al-Baba fell to the floor. Something hit him in the chest, knocking the breath out of him. He pulled himself up and reached for the door, screaming his sister’s name. A second explosion threw him back to the floor. The bathroom ceiling — and the whole building above it — collapsed on his back.
An Israeli air raid hit the six-story residential building in Ain el Delb, a neighborhood outside the coastal city of Sidon. The entire building tipped over down a hillside and landed on its face, taking with it 17 apartments full of families and visitors. More than 70 people were killed, and 60 injured.
Israel said the Sept. 29 strike targeted a Hezbollah commander and claimed the building was a headquarters for the group. It could not be independently confirmed whether any of the residents belonged to Hezbollah.
In a video that surfaced online mourning one of the people believed to be residing in the building, he appeared in an old photo wearing military fatigues, a sign of affiliation with Hezbollah.
Either way, experts say the strike illustrates Israel’s willingness to kill significant numbers of civilians in pursuit of a single target. That tactic has fueled the high death toll among Palestinians in Gaza in Israel’s year-old campaign against Hamas.

It‘s preposterous that Donald Trump has declared that he will be a “protector” of women. Never has he been.
During his (hopefully only) administration, he nominated three anti-abortion judges to the Supreme Court who were instrumental in overturning Roe vs. Wade which, for half a century, guaranteed the constitutional right to abortion. One of his nominees to the federal bench in Texas tried to take medication abortion off the market in 2023 and almost succeeded.
Since the Supreme Court’s 2022 ruling returning the decision on abortion to the states, nearly half abortion bans, some of which have prevented women from getting emergency abortions to save them from severe health complications or death. The infant mortality rate rose, particularly among babies with severe abnormalities, which researchers say could be the result of women being forced to carry doomed babies that will die shortly after birth…
