Moms Will Always Be Moms

Kaushal Kishore

This is a beautiful piece that I came across today. As it pertains to moms and is so well thought out, I couldn’t resist myself from sharing this.

See how concerned mothers are for the well-being of their children. It doesn’t matter who their children are and what they have become or done. For a mom, her son will always remain her son, and she will remain a mother for him.

This Saturday, enjoy this write-up, dedicated to all mothers of the world, but for whom the human civilization would have failed to move forward.

So here are those mom talks:

☘️ Issac Newton’s mother:
“But did you wash the apple before eating it?”

☘️Archimedes’s mother:
“Didn’t you have any shame running naked in the street? And, who is this girl, Eureka??”

☘️Thomas Edison’s mother:

US Targets 125,000 Refugees Under New Sponsorship Program | Asharq AL-awsat (“Welcome Corps”)

US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken described the Welcome Corps program as “the boldest innovation in refugee resettlement in four decades.”

The Welcome Corps will build on Americans’ generosity of spirit by creating a durable program for Americans in communities across the country to privately sponsor refugees from around the world.

Under the program, any American can privately sponsor a refugee in the United States without obtaining approvals through associations, non-governmental organizations, and complex logistical operations.

In the first year of Welcome Corps, the Department of State will seek to mobilize 10,000 Americans to step forward as private sponsors and offer a welcoming hand to at least 5,000 refugees.

Groups of at least five individual American citizens or permanent resident adults will be able to apply to the Welcome Corps to sponsor the resettlement of refugees in the US privately.

Probe into shootings against New Mexico politicians broadens to potential illegal campaign contributions

Republican Solomon Pena is accused of conspiring with and paying four men to carry out shootings at the Albuquerque-area homes of two Bernalillo County commissioners and two state legislators, Albuquerque police said. No one was hurt in the shootings, which all involved elected Democratic officials.

Pena, who has been called an “election denier,” was arrested Monday. He is accused of paying four men cash and texting them the addresses he wanted targeted, Albuquerque police said.

Pena lost his House race in November, and anger over that may have motivated the attacks, police said. Pena has claimed that his defeat was the result of election fraud, but the allegations are unfounded.
