आवाज की शक्ति / Power of Voice – Kaushal Kishore

रूठी खामोशी होती है अंदर की आग,

पर बोलती शिकायतों की अलग है बात…

एक मौका देता है जो, घाव को भरने का,

शांति लाने और लड़ाई को खत्म करने का…

🌻🌻🌻🌻🌻🌻

Silent anger burns, an inner flame,

But speaking out can shift the game…

A chance to heal, to set things right,

To bring in peace, and end the fight…

The Donkey Debacle – Kaushal Kishore

This Sunday, I’ll share a well-known story with a humorous twist, presented in my own style, to highlight how its characters can be found all around us. Here’s the story—enjoy it!

😊

Once upon a night, when the world was snoring away like an orchestra of snores, a thief decided to moonlight as a washerman’s house guest—uninvited, of course. The washerman? Dead to the world, dreaming of sparkling white clothes. And the dog? Wide awake but sulking in his corner, plotting revenge because the washerman had downgraded his menu to leftover lentils.

“I’ll teach him a lesson,” thought the dog. “No bones, no barks.”

Meanwhile, the donkey—bless his overachieving heart—noticed the thief tiptoeing around. The donkey, being the loyal companion that he was, instead of playing it cool, he decided to channel his inner opera singer and started braying so loudly, that it probably woke up cows in the next village.

The thief, startled by this uninvited performance, bolted faster than a sprinter at the Olympic. The washerman, jolted awake, stumbled out, only to see the donkey looking all smug and self-important. Instead of applauding the donkey’s heroics, he started beating the poor donkey for disrupting his precious sleep in the middle of the night.

The story doesn’t end there, for history, as they say, has a funny way of repeating itself. Another washerman, this one a bit more enlightened, who knew how to analyse things threadbare, found himself in a similar situation.

When his donkey brayed during the midnight, he didn’t jump to conclusions or grab his stick. Instead, he connected the dots- an open door, a silent dog, and a braying donkey. The clues clicked. He realised his donkey was just being a good Samaritan—or rather, a good “donkaritan.” Overjoyed, the washerman showered the donkey with the finest treats and delicacies.

The donkey, now basking in his newfound glory, decided to go above and beyond. He took on extra responsibilities, including the dog’s duties. The dog kept enjoying his lentils with an air of smug satisfaction, like a retiree on vacation.

But alas, all good things come at a price. After a few days of tireless multitasking, the donkey was worn out, his enthusiasm replaced by sheer exhaustion. Even the gourmet meals couldn’t bring back his spark. The dog, watching all this unfold from his comfy corner, couldn’t help but grin. He had gamed the system.

In the end, whether criticised or praised, the donkey’s fate remained the same: overworked and underappreciated. Moral of the story? Know your job description well, or you might end up as everyone’s favorite scapegoat—or scapedonkey. But alas, a donkey will always be a donkey!😊😊😊

The god within – Susana Cabaço

At the depths of your being, there’s timeless sacredness. A sacredness that you can touch by diving deep inside you. Attuned to your own profundity, you activate your inner divinity, or, put differently, the god within. Then, the holy glory that is always inside can radiate through you, illuminating your physical reality, as the sun brings light to the day. In a sense, your original and eternal divine spark lives its godliness without.
Here and now, you are a body of flesh and bones and, at the same time, of light—a lively god outwardly expressing a bit of its inner sacred glamor. The forgetfulness of your eternal truth and misalignment from your divine nature make it hard to believe, from your limited human perspective, that that is the case. Still, your everlasting sacred spark remains untouched inside you. Your true grace and power are in your light, a light that is eternally divine, no matter how short its outer expression. An expression that, by your intention, dedication, and awareness, can flourish in your personal life experience.
Whenever you touch the god within, you are having sacredness touching your life. The intensity and frequency of your contact determine the strength of the divine light you are allowing into your humanness. The more you allow, the more all that isn’t divine is alchemized, and the more your unique perpetual glow grows. Or, in other words, the more you approach your natural divine state in your human form—a lively god indeed; can you believe it?! And it is so near… within you all along!
