The 5 LOVE Languages – Belladonna’s Flashlight
Have you ever thought about what it takes to make you feel loved by the one you love?
I must admit that over time I didn’t think about it. When you have kids, work, and everything else going on, you don’t have time or the need to think about this question.
But I have seen many divorced folks, and I’m not trying to be one of them. So with that being said, my husband and I had a conversation about which one of the five love languages we feel is the most important. The hard part is, you can only choose one.
Yes, they are all essential, but which one is the MOST important?
The 5 love languages are:
1. Quality Time
2. Acts of Service
3. Words of Affirmation
4. Receiving Gifts
5. Physical Touch
My top pick is.…… QUALITY TIME
I’m looking forward to your answers!!!
You could have chosen any blog to read, but you chose mine, and I’m honored!

With or without US support, ‘we cannot let Russia win,’ says Ursula von der Leyen | Euronews
The European Union cannot afford to let Russia win the war in Ukraine regardless of what happens in the United States after the presidential elections, Ursula von der Leyen has said.
“The simple truth is we do not have the luxury of comfort. We do not have control of elections or decisions in other parts of the world. And we simply do not have the time to skirt around the issue,” the European Commission president told Members of the European Parliament on Wednesday morning.
“With or without the support of our partners, we cannot let Russia win. And the cost of insecurity – the cost of a Russian victory – is far greater than any saving we could make now. And this is why it is time for Europe to step up.”
Her plea comes on the heels of comments made by Donald Trump, the Republican frontrunner, who openly said he would “encourage” Russia to do “whatever the hell they want” against NATO countries that fail to spend at least 2% of their GDP in defence. The remarks prompted immediate backlash and condemnation from Western leaders, who described them as “reckless,” “irresponsible” and “dumb.”

Speakers of 23 parliaments issue open letter to Mike Johnson in Ukraine aid support | RBC-Ukraine
The Speakers of 23 parliaments and the President of the European Parliament, Roberta Metsola, sent an open letter to the Speaker of the US House of Representatives, Mike Johnson, to support aid to Ukraine. The letter was initiated by the Speaker of the Ukrainian Parliament, Ruslan Stefanchuk, according to a letter published by the Speaker of the Verkhovna Rada.
Thus, in this open letter, the parliamentary leaders ask Johnson to introduce HR 815, the US Foreign Assistance Bill, which was passed by the US Senate on February 13, 2024, and provides for an appropriation of $60.06 billion to help Ukraine, to the House of Representatives.
“The bill has now been referred to the House of Representatives and, according to the rules of procedure, Speaker Johnson has the authority to introduce it to the Lower House of the US Congress. We, the speakers of the parliaments, called on Speaker Johnson to facilitate the adoption of a historic decision by the US Congress that will ensure US assistance to foreign countries and provide Ukraine with the necessary funds to continue its struggle,” the letter reads.

COVID-19 may have an impact on people’s cognitive and memory abilities that lasts a year or more after infection.
A new study by Imperial College London researchers reveals small deficits in the performance of cognitive and memory tasks in people who had recovered from COVID-19 compared with those who had not had COVID-19.
This includes people who had long duration symptoms (i.e., Long COVID) that had eventually resolved.
The study also shows that the cognitive deficits were larger for people who were hospitalised, who had ongoing long duration symptoms, or who were infected with earlier variants of the virus.
The study is published today in the New England Journal of Medicine.
