Messenger of Love – Kaushal Kishore

The following poem seeks to portray a flower’s journey, from the moment it is plucked to its role in expressing love and emotions. It delves into themes of responsibility, honour, purpose, and the fleeting nature of life.

🌹

I am a rose, once bound to my stem,

Parted from thorns and my sibling gem…

Yet I embrace this fate with quiet grace,

To bear love’s whisper in a tender space…

.

My purpose now is to share my bloom,

To brighten hearts and dispel their gloom…

With steadfast care, I’ll carry what’s true,

Honouring the trust that gave me this hue…

.

Though I mourn the loss of my mother tree,

A noble purpose now sets my sorrow free…

Who knows what fate might have been mine?

Left to ruin, buried beneath the sands of time…

.

Perhaps I’ll rest between pages of a book,

A token of memory, a love forever to hook…

Even if I’m withered, I’ll fulfill this sacred role,

A part of joy, etched deep in someone’s soul…

🌹
