Jardim secreto | De malinha pronta

Uma voz calada
Um grito reprimido
Uma promessa selada
Um segredo escondido
Um gesto ausente
Uma marca apagada
Um passado, um presente
Uma mão entrelaçada
Um sonho esquecido
Uma espera eterna
Um desejo oprimido
Uma carícia terna
Um amor puro
Dois seres perdidos
Uma história sem futuro
Dois corpos esquecidos.

Building Bridges Not Boundaries | From Behind the Pen

Our world is saturated with divisiveness on practically every level these days. Quite frankly for me, it is exhausting; wasted energy. Unity seems to be elusive, but I try to keep my eyes focused on the mark of constructing bridges, not barriers.

Bridges connect degrees of separation, while boundaries disconnect and sever the ties that bind. The smell of division permeating through relationships these days is like a wildfire on steroids. But the good thing is, we have an amazing opportunity to pull out our tools of integration and construct a bridge of understanding, opportunity, peace, joy, and love. Bridges build possibilities and unity; boundaries create deadbeat divisions and lifelessness.

‘Toon Time!!! | Filosofa’s Word

Somehow it feels like it ought to be the beginning of the weekend, but I am told that no, it’s only Thursday.   Okay, well, either way, my cartoon stash is literally overflowing … to the point that I cannot squeeze them all into one post.  Well, okay, I could, but I don’t want to overwhelm you, so there will likely be another ‘toon post in a day or two.  Meanwhile, here are some of the best I’ve found ’round the ‘net this week!
