Navalny Returns to Moscow and Is Detained on Arrival – The New York Times

“Aleksei has been taken away by police officers at the border. Without an explanation why,” his spokeswoman, Kira Yarmysh, posted on Twitter. “They did not let his lawyer accompany him because she had ‘crossed the border’ a second earlier.”

Before he was detained at passport control, Mr. Navalny gave an impromptu statement to journalists. He stood in the transit area of the airport’s Terminal D, before a lit-up screen showing a photo of the Kremlin, and apologized to air travelers inconvenienced by the air-traffic tumult surrounding his arrival.

“I am not afraid,” he said in remarks carried by Russian news media livestreams from the scene. “I know that I am right. I know all the criminal cases against me are fabricated.”

Under the tri-divine gaze of Sangay Methrub, Chenrigzig and Buddha; the multi-mundane gaze of my extended family members and the singularly-internalized gaze of my masculinity, I lifted the pothi, put it straight on my shoulder and began the easy work of erasing my sins in three easy rounds. However, as I was walking … ahem! … walk-sprinting to make the rounds, I couldn’t help but wonder if the fact that we had driven all the…

Unlocking The Hidden Me

#poetry

Sea of memories conjures up my mind

a little stimulus creates a ripple

And a wave of emotions drench my soul

While I sit here rocking my chair and rewind the life’s stroll

How vibrant were my salad days

What a sunshine smile my face wore

To live in cloud cuckoo land was just so fun

How one by one things fades in the long run

Springtime of life with little flowers in my garden

How beautifully they turned into big trees

Where to look for umbrage I wonder

The sun shines brighter each day and I find the shade just always yonder

Loneliness is always so unforeknown

My garden awaits those tiny parakeets

Oh how they fluttered around all over

Oh how I kept them safe and maneuver

They laugh and become angry at me like I used to, at them

Oh how well have I trained…
