‘We Don’t Need to Make America Great Again. Come on, We Are Great’

Ford appeared in a series of videos in partnership with the Harris-Walz campaign, released Saturday, saying in one video, “When dozens of former members of the Trump administration are sounding alarms, saying, ‘For God’s sake, don’t do this again,’ you have to pay attention. They’re telling us something important. These aren’t soft people. They’re governors, generals, standing up against the leader of the party they spent their lives advocating for. For many of them, this will be the first time they’ve ever voted for someone who doesn’t have an ‘R’ next to their name. Because they know this really matters.”

6 Must Do’s To Keep Off The Holiday POUNDS^ – Belladonna’s Flashlight

Soldiers, your commitment to your fitness goals is crucial. With less than two months left, it’s time to take charge and get your life in order!

Remember, you’re not alone in this journey. If you’re feeling like you don’t have enough time to exercise, or you’re unsure of what to do, or you’re lacking a workout partner, or you’re struggling to find motivation, remember that you have someone who will guide you to where you want to be.

Don’t let the holiday parties, with their late-night eating and drinking, deter you from your fitness goals. You have the power to stay intense and focused, no matter the temptations!

Six ways to keep off the Holiday Pounds

1. Balanced Diet: Focus on whole foods like fruits, vegetables, whole grains, lean proteins, and healthy fats. Reducing sugary snacks and processed foods can help manage calorie intake.

2. Regular Exercise: Incorporate cardio and strength training into your routine. Aim for at least 150 minutes of moderate aerobic activity or 75 minutes of vigorous activity each week. Regular exercise not only keeps you fit but also boosts your mood and energy levels, inspiring you to keep going.

3. Stay Hydrated: Drink plenty of water throughout the day. Understanding that our bodies sometimes confuse thirst with hunger can empower you to make healthier choices and avoid unnecessary snacking.

4. Portion Control: Take control of your eating habits by paying attention to portion sizes. Using smaller plates or measuring out servings can help prevent overeating, making you more mindful of what and how much you eat.

5. Get Enough Sleep: Aim for 7-9 hours of quality sleep each night. Poor sleep can disrupt hormones that regulate appetite, leading to weight gain.

6. Set Realistic Goals: Instead of aiming for quick weight loss, focus on gradual changes that you can maintain long-term. Setting wise, achievable goals can help keep you motivated and build your confidence in your ability to make lasting changes.

We all are capable of doing this, and we owe it to ourselves to stay committed to our fitness goals!

Harris rally in Atlanta brings out thousands of supporters on little notice | Atlanta | The Guardian

Kamala Harris struck a contrast between her work as a prosecutor and a Donald Trump campaign “obsessed with revenge and consumed with grievance” on Saturday in Atlanta, three days before election day.

I was betrayed by Harris on Gaza. But Trump would be catastrophic

The painful reality is that the movement for Palestinian rights has not acquired the political power necessary to stop the genocide that we have all watched unfold over the last year. And ultimately, it is progressive movements — not Harris and the Democrats — who will suffer the most under a second Trump term. We cannot abdicate our power within the Democratic Party, limited as it may be, for the sake of trying to punish the party’s leadership. We must block Trump and the fascist right, while at the same time demanding change from our leaders, continuing to agitate for an arms embargo with every resource we have.
