Narcisista – Pensamentos.me/VEM comigo!
The Covid Story Just Keeps Getting Better and Better
We’ve take another step forward in explaining the lasting effects of Covid in some patients — and the explanation, coming from British autopsies, just isn’t going to make anyone happy.
In turns out the spike protein that allows the virus to adhere and penetrate a cell can break off from the virus and act as an independent source of inflammation in the brain.
In examining the brains of people after death, and presumably long after exposure to Covid-19, British researchers found spike proteins lodge in cells of the brain.
The current theory is that the spikes can be collected by tiny crevasses or openings in the skull or even in the layer of cells separating brain tissue from the skull (the meninges). The fragments can build up over time and then cause inflammation and the resulting brain fog typical of “long Covid.”
Now, doesn’t that make you feel better?

Colorado offers safe haven for abortion, transgender care | AP News
A trio of health care bills enshrining access to abortion and gender-affirming procedures and medications have become law in Colorado as the Democrat-led state tries to make itself a safe haven for people from states where Republican leaders have restricted care. The main goal of the legislation signed by Democratic Gov. Jared Polis is to ensure people in surrounding states and beyond can go to Colorado to have an abortion, begin puberty blockers or receive gender-affirming surgery without fear of prosecution. Bordering states of Wyoming and Oklahoma have passed abortion bans and Utah has severely restricted transgender care for minors.
