This ‘Man’ Is NOT A Hero!!! | Filosofa’s Word

…I was horrified by the murder of a Black homeless man, Jordan Neely, by a white man on a New York subway train.  But then, horror turned to rage when I saw some of the reactions, with people calling Mr. Neely’s murderer a “hero” and then when a GoFundMe account was established for his legal defense, it quickly amassed over $2 million!!!  WHAT THE SAM HELL is wrong with people in this country?  People whine and bitch about the economy, the price of fuel & food, but yet they’ve got money to throw away supporting a murderous white supremacist???  Well, rather than listen to me rant, here is what Aaron Rupar and Noah Berlatsky, two writers/journalists I have a great deal of respect for, have to say on the topic …

Jhulan looked at Gokul in disbelief and said,
“You know that a horse cannot fly! How can you think of such a crazy idea? Don’t you think that after a year your false claim will be exposed? You are just postponing your death for a year.”

Gokul replied,
“It is not so my friend. I have actually given myself four chances to save myself from imminent death. First, the death of the king could happen…

Disney won’t move workers to Lake Nona. DeSantis brawl continues – Los Angeles Times

Walt Disney Co. has canceled its plan to open a new Florida campus that would’ve relocated some 2,000 employees to the state, a change that comes as the company is engaged in a long brawl with the state’s Republican governor, Ron DeSantis.

The company in July 2021 said it planned to move staffers, including many theme park designers (known as Imagineers) and consumer products workers, to new office space in the Orlando community of Lake Nona to take advantage of roughly $570 million in tax breaks.

“Mi verdad es la verdad y eso no cambia por lo que diga este fallo (…) Vamos a seguir trabajando para que Argentina, Brasil, toda América Latina y el mundo tengan perspectiva de género a la hora de fallar. Vamos a ir a la Corte Interamericana si hace falta.La justicia le está dando la espalda a un reclamo social, una vez más, pero les va a pasar por arriba, porque no nos vamos a callar…
