On this World Refugee Day, let us remember the heart-wrenching reality faced by refugees in foreign lands. The profound sadness lies in our lack of possession, not only in material things, but even within our own hearts. Even in our deepest slumber, they long to escape and return to the cherished homeland we were forced to leave behind. Source: Refugee Day! – Silent Songs of Sonsnow

Rush, Rush, Rush…Speed Bump! ⚠

Like a roadster on the de-restricted sections of the autobahn, I felt my life was operating at warp speed, trying to defy the sound barrier with an evolving reproduction of activity that suddenly pops up on my daily to-do list. Recently, I was caught in a speed trap running on autopilot until I came to an abrupt halt from sheer exhaustion.
I was rushing, trying to get so much stuff packed in my day when in all actuality, I knew that was impossible. I tried anyway thinking I was successful at it, but not. Look, I have been through this speed trap before. I know the downside to keeping this nonsensical busyness of trying to do too many things in a short crunch of time, and then becoming too exhausted to appreciate any fruits produced from my labor, if there were any at all. Rush…rush…rush.

You’ll find lemon, eggs, butter, sugar, and usually tapioca starch as a thickening agent. All good stuff, in my opinion. Buy it, refrigerate it, and guard it like the holy grail.
