O que é uma mulher sem livros? – Pensamentos.me/VEM comigo!
Conselho pra vida: estude!

The Immigrant’s Hum – Grounds For Hope
In a new land's cradle, whispers unfold; On blank pages, life's tales yet to be told. Through bustling streets with signs unknown, No job, no degree; in shadows, hope is sown. Learning language, where soft symphonies hum, As an immigrant within life's melody, I strum. In the labyrinth of worry, my heartbeat persists, A resume, dreams woven into endless lists. Foreign language, a brook's tranquil nook, Navigating verbs, an unexplored book. In the tempest of thoughts, solace embraced, A quiet park bench where dreams are retraced. Possibilities bloom like spring's vibrant throng, Whispers of hope in a new land, strong. Like a phoenix with dreams in its flight, An immigrant embraced by the city's light. Stars hang upside down, a foreign map; The moon, a stranger's eye in the inky gap. Dreams stutter in the language I can't speak, Will they bloom in daylight, or forever leak?

Iceland volcano eruption threatens Grindavik with lava – The Washington Post
A volcano erupted in southwestern Iceland on Sunday after a series of earthquakes in the early morning, the country’s meteorological office said — threatening to overcome the nearby coastal town of Grindavik with streams of slow-moving lava.
The lava posed no threat to human life but could still wreak damage on the town, said Icelandic President Gudni Thorlacius Johannesson. “The town had already been successfully evacuated overnight and no lives are in danger, although infrastructure may be under threat,” he said in a post on X, formerly known as Twitter.

Giving Thanks For the Kindness Of Strangers – Jamaica Woman Tongue
The defendants are “the Woof Group Limited who now own over 200 acres of land adjoining the beach; and the Commissioner of Lands, a statutory body of the Jamaican government.” Dr Taylor confirmed that, “Rastafari heritage at the beach is also under threat with the land rights legal case to protect ancient Bongo Gabby’s home on the beach. This case is now in the Appeals court of Jamaica.” Dr Taylor forcefully argued that, “The public must continue to defend access to Bob Marley beach and push back against the displacement of Jamaicans from beaches and rivers across the island.”

201 – Anonymously Hal
I think about you every day. I remind myself to remember the complexity of your eyes, the softness of your hands, and the comfort of your voice as I refuse to forget the details that I held so close. I will keep you with me for as long as I can, Even if only in my mind.

Demining the Sahara – UNIVERSE

Begun in 2019, the Saharawi Mine Action Team (SMAWT) is an association of women engaged in demining activities along the Moroccan-built sand wall, or berm, that runs about 1,600 miles from Mauritania through Western Sahara to Morocco, and along Morocco’s border with Algeria. The territory remains the longest continuously mined area in the world, estimated to hold between seven and ten million landmines.
The Saharawi people, caught up in decades of territorial struggle over Western Sahara, still wait to return to their lands, occupied by Morocco since 1974.
Among them, womenwork tirelessly for mine reduction and to help the families of those who have been killed or injured: there have been more than 2,500 landmine casualties over the last fifty years. Despite their limited resources, these women have already helped train 3,850 people on the dangers of landmines.
