marking the graves of all our souls [415:12] – Nguyễn Thị Phương Trâm

EM

the world had forgiven me
but one person
adamantly did not

me
I had no faith
or holy text as I preached
about redemption

no soul would ever be able to help this sinking
drowning body of mine

beyond the millions of sad faces
stuck in the dark
what they call light

where what left is right
where what right is left
and what’s in the middle is nothing
but a dream

with all those scar in history
itchy and bleeding
they scratch it until they break our nails

awareness
trying its best to delete what was in
a distorted mind
marking the graves of all
our lost souls

– I wish you truly did commit such immortal sins, then at least your murder was justified. Pray that you will end up in a better world, with better luck, a lot happier than you were in this despicable world. (Tr D.)

Honouring Dr. Martin Luther King … | Filosofa’s Word

“Our lives begin to end the day we become silent about things that matter.”

“Darkness cannot drive out darkness: Only light can do that. Hate cannot drive out hate: Only love can do that.”

“That old law about ‘an eye for an eye’ leaves everybody blind. The time is always right to do the right thing.”

Colored pencils…by Mágica Mistura – Mágica Mistura

Come more, come here

Let’s give it a little color

A sky blue here

A lead gray there

Bring the green… different shades

And the violet… I miss it

In yellow, here comes the sun 🎶🎶

Enough more, beloved orange

I will dye it red and pink

A whole enchanted garden…

Silver is the moonlight?!

So glitter, please

Navy blue in the sea

Emerald green, white sand

Fly low the seagull

You will get wet in the drizzle

Colorful parrots

Multi-colored toucans…

Green leaves, bronze leaves

Hey, courage!

Paint the rainbow now

Spill the ink of joy…

About everything, about everyone

What a colorful trip!

Reflections on The Poetry of Walking in Unity | From Behind the Pen

Walk in Unity

Walk in unity oh children of the Light
a house divided will inevitably fall
practice the divine fruits of the Spirit
one faith, one baptism, one Lord for all.

No matter how big and no matter how small
each person possesses a precious gift
an important piece of the universal puzzle
to unify, to uphold and to uplift.

For when we feel weak
it is then we are strong
with faith, hope and trust
we can never, ever go wrong.

We stick to the fight
when we feel the hardest hit
with resiliency and even-temperedness
walk in unity and vow to never quit!
