Gaza aid falters at Ouga as Israeli settlers close the crossing – Egypt Independent

Since the start of sending humanitarian aid to Gaza on October 21, Israel has continually placed obstacles.

Amongst these is the requirement that aid be sent first from Rafah border crossing to Ouga commercial crossing between Egypt and Israel to be examined and inspected, and then sent to the Palestinian side of the Rafah crossing again – a journey that takes about 100 kilometers.

Colorado town appoints legal guardians for stream – Darcy Hitchcock

Earlier this month, the Board of Trustees in Nederland, 45 miles northwest of Denver, authorized the appointment of two guardians to represent Boulder Creek and the watershed for purposes of preparing annual reports about the ecosystems’ health and to make recommendations on improving water quality, wildlife habitats and wetlands protection.

More towns in Colorado are following suit.

Since then, the town of Nederland and three other Colorado municipalities have enacted nonbinding resolutions recognizing the rights of the Uncompahgre RiverGrand Lake and St. Vrain Creeks.
