Marii Freire – Pensamentos.me/VEM comigo!

Pende nisso!

Unpacking how to recycle plastic – Darcy Hitchcock

Plastics are a problem. While they are light and flexible, useful features, they come in a myriad of types, making them hard to recycle. Almost none biodegrade in nature and microplastics are increasingly a concern. So your first line of defense should be to find products that aren’t packaged in plastic. Or find stores where you can refill your containers.

But it’s pretty tough to avoid plastic all together, so here’s a definitive guide on how to recycle.

Traffic in Bali – Helena And The Sea Photography

Balinese scooter driver with a yellow rain coat blowing behind him like he was superman.

I recently got home from Bali. As usual I spent some time in traffic on the amazing island of Bali. There are a lot of complaints going around about the traffic situation on the island. But I’ll show you how to enjoy it a bit more. Stay with me 😉

When I travel in Bali, I stay at different locations and explore the local attractions in that area. That way I spend less time on the road. There are so many people complaining about the traffic in Bali. And it’s true, it’s horrible in some places. So, in order to avoid spending half my day in traffic, I stay at one place that’s close to what I want to explore. And then move on to the next destination…

Home Office to detain asylum seekers across UK in shock Rwanda operation | Immigration and asylum | The Guardian (Me: Britain’s “1984” begins on Monday)

The Home Office will launch a surprise operation to detain asylum seekers across the UK on Monday in preparation for deportation to Rwanda, weeks earlier than expected, the Guardian understands.

Officials plan to hold refugees who turn up for routine meetings at immigration service offices and will also pick people up nationwide in a two-week exercise.

They will be immediately transferred to detention centres, which have already been prepared for the operation, and held to be put on later flights to Rwanda. Others identified for these flights are already being held.

It is thought the launch of the operation has been timed to coincide with Thursday’s local council elections in England, to boost Rishi Sunak’s claims he is cracking down on illegal migration.
