Is Waiting on the Right Time a Good Thing for the Right Time? | From Behind the Pen

“Don’t wait for the right opportunity: create it.” — George Bernard Shaw

Sometimes “life” happens. Sometimes we procrastinate for so long that we can’t muster the energy to work towards the dreams we once had. What threw us off course? We wait, putting off those exciting dreams and aspirations we once visualized, but never really got around to do. Was it because of money, circumstances, relationships, exhaustion, insecurity, a loss of faith, and/or discouragement?

We may not become the greatest or richest, even though we probably thought we could if we tried hard enough. Some people do and some don’t. But when we look at our life and the cards we were dealt, can we use that as an excuse to do nothing or should we use what we have to become great or rich in our “own” rite of passage and not that compared to someone else? If I coulda, woulda, shoulda. Have you ever faced such a dilemma? I know I sure have. Sometimes it works out and at other times it’s a missed opportunity.

“If you can’t do great things, do small things in a great way. Don’t wait for great opportunities. Seize common, everyday ones and make them great.” — Napoleon Hill

Open Thread | To Those Who Are Going to ‘Punish’ Joe Biden by Voting Third Party Because of Palestine…Think On This | 3CHICSPOLITICO

Here’s how “Genocide Joe” lost the support of people protesting the Israel/Hamas war:

He’s negotiating a deal to end the war that includes:
• rebuilding Gaza
• a Palestinian state
•normalization between Israel, Saudi Arabia, and other Arab states

He successfully negotiated the only ceasefire between Israel and Hamas, which ended because Hamas wouldn’t abide by the terms

He’s responsible for the only instance of hostages being released by Hamas

He sent billions in foreign aid to Gaza including:
• food
• medical supplies
• clean water

Building a pier off the shore of Gaza to get them more aid (which terrorists have already attacked to delay the aid)

He’s stated over and over that the war against Hamas should be fought with the intent of minimizing civilian casualties

He helped prevent a single casualty from Iran’s attack which included hundreds of drones and missiles

He’s encouraged and supported peaceful protests

He’s condemned Islamophobia

He’s condemned antisemitism

He’s condemned his opponent’s plan to ban Muslims that includes a ban on any refugees from Gaza

I really would like for those threatening to not vote of vote Third Party in November, I have a question:
Name me 5 Active GOP Politicians who have vocalized support for Palestine.
Between the majority in the house and almost half in the Senate, surely you can come up with a meager FIVE GOP Politicians who have stood up for the Palestinians.
Come on, now.
You can do it.
Just five.

When one political party can’t utter one word in support of Palestinians…

And, the other party might not be doing all that you would want…but, is the only game in town….

And, the other side has made it clear that they’d give the all clear to kill them all, raze Gaza, and then turn it into a Mideast Condo paradise…

These things aren’t equal to me,.

But, then again, I’m from a people who have had to practice ruthless pragmatism with our votes…..and, have never had the privilege or the audacity to even think about throwing away my vote…

Echoes of Words – Kaushal Kishore

In the tranquil halls where thoughts reside,

Words drift like shadows, a silent guide…

Some faint whispers, others bold and wide,

Yet some, like arrows, strike deep inside…

.

Some words murmur, gentle as a breeze,

While others roar like tempestuous seas…

Their power lies not in ink’s simple ease,

But in the depth of meaning, they seize…

.

Like syllables swirling in the twilight’s dance,

Words spin tales, leaving traces, perchance…

But handle with care, for they hold the wans,

To mend broken hearts or fuel disdain’s advance…

.

So before we release them, swift in flight,

Let’s ponder their aim, their purpose bright…

For words can heal the wounds or ignite,

Sculpting our realm from dawn till night…

.
