Donald Trump’s foul-mouthed migrant rant captured in private pitch to donors | Donald Trump | The Guardian

Trump cited a false example of 22 people he claimed had come to the US after being released from prison in the Democratic Republic of the Congo. “We said, ‘Where do you come from?’ They said, ‘Prison’. ‘What did you do?’ ‘None of your fucking business what we did.’ You know why? Because they’re murderers.”

The candidate added, “I hate to use that foul language”, apparently recognising that his use of the F-word went further than his campaign rallies. The Congolese government has said there is no truth to Trump’s statements.

The candidate went on: “These are the toughest people. These people are coming in from Africa, from the Middle East. They’re coming in from all parts of Asia, the bad parts, the parts where they’re rough, and the only thing good is they make our criminals look extremely nice. They make our Hell’s Angels look like the nicest people on earth.”

Studies show that immigrants are less likely to commit crime than native-born Americans.

Great news on job growth strengthens Dems’ pre-election pitch

The U.S. added 254,000 jobs in September, far exceeding expectations, while the unemployment rate fell from 4.2% in August to 4.1%. Forecasts were for 150,000 new jobs added last month, compared to a revised 159,000 in August. The unemployment rate was expected to be unchanged from August.”

In addition to the encouraging top-line data, the same Labor Department report showed that wage growth continued to outpace inflation.

After Taylor Swift fiasco, Trump again shares fake celebrity endorsement | The Independent

Minutes after the post went live, the company denied the claim. A spokesperson for Dimon told CNBC that “Jamie Dimon has not endorsed anyone. He has not endorsed a candidate.”

There is some question as to who posted the message, because Trump claims he had no knowledge of the fake endorsement.

“Somebody put it up,” Trump told NBC News. “I don’t know.”

Despite being told the post was inaccurate and acknowledging that he was aware of its existence, Trump has not removed the post as of 8:30pm EST on Friday. The post has remained on his page for six hours as of the time of this report.
