Seasons of the Heart – Kaushal Kishore

Sometimes dreams shatter, fall apart,

And tears well up from a heavy heart…

Some memories buried in sobs deep,

In silence, they fade, forever asleep…

.

Love that once soared on open wings,

Falters, burdened by what pain brings…

Every wound whispers, “Not enough,”

Inadequacy creeps in, time gets tough…

.

We forget trees, their graceful stance,

Enduring summer’s scorching dance…

In the stillness, they bear immense pain,

Yet wait patiently for the soothing rain…

.

For they too know, seasons come and go,

New hopes arise, as the sun starts to glow…

The sea of tears, once moved to the eyes,

Flows back to the heart, where love lies…

.

Good days return, though they may roam,

A new dawn breaks, a new day’s home…

So let’s learn from nature’s gentle grace,

And greet each season with steady pace…

.
