At life’s intersections, it guides us to slow…

Not as a hindrance or a reason for despair,

But to guard our path with a watchful care…

With thankful hearts, let’s honour their past,

Their tales and legacies, gems that will last…

In their twilight years, let’s offer them grace,

For the world is brighter with elders in place…
