I’d ceased to miss you and your stories,

When I decided to hold on to memories…

But an emptiness seeped into my heart,

Suffocating from within, tearing me apart…

So now, I’ve started to forget once more,

Embracing the pain that I’ve known before…

The bittersweet ache of remembering you,

A heartache that’s familiar, but forever true…
