Nun hoffe ich natürlich, dass in unserem Fall Liebe die guten Seiten in uns hervorbringt. Ist es wirlich Liebe, wenn man die angeblich geliebte Person besitzen will und sogar bereit ist ihr zu schaden, wenn sie die Gefühle nicht erwidert?

… As far as we are concerned, I do hope that love will bring out the good in us. Is it really love, if one wants to own the allegedly loved person and is even willing to hurt them, if they do not reciprocate the feelings?
