First Female Teacher of India – Kaushal Kishore

Savitribai Phule, acknowledged as India’s first female educator and a trailblazer, defied societal norms in her pursuit of women’s education, equality, and justice. Her life epitomised the unyielding spirit of women’s empowerment.
Today, on her 193rd birth anniversary, while paying homage to her, I share some important anchors of her inspiring life.

However, her husband Jyotirao Phule, who was 13, supported her education. Jyotirao educated her at home and later enrolled her in a teachers’ training institution in Pune, paving the way for her to become a teacher for girls…

YOU ARE LOVE [421:4] – Nguyễn Thị Phương Trâm
do you want to stand here
right by my side
and watch the sunrise?
(today
tomorrow
and the day after
forever)
you(dear love)
my lover
we failed at planning
anything
for an affair
(resolute)
reaching a point of realization

COVID Is ‘Still a Pandemic,’ WHO Leader Says – The Messenger
Marian Van Kerkhove, M.D., who led the organization’s response to the virus, wrote on X over the weekend that she was “worried” about the current state of the global outbreak heading into the fifth year since the virus’s eruption.
“It’s still a global health threat and it’s still a pandemic causing far too many (re)infections, hospitalizations, deaths and long covid when tools exist to prevent them,” she wrote.

The boxing match was imminent… [NF 7:9] – Nguyễn Thị Phương Trâm
The boxing match was imminent…
the crowd hovered like flies
the stadium rather nice
they hoped
the boxers will slam into each other
make it a tight fight
but only one of the competitor knows
he’s a boxer, not some bullhead hero
hence didn’t know how to wave around the red cloth
he’s left everything
behind
ran
when the bull came at him like the wind
the spectators
fell back feet in the air
rammed and gored a dream into smithereens Source: The boxing match was imminent… [NF 7:9] – Nguyễn Thị Phương Trâm
