Angela é uma mulher que vive seu tempo e chama atenção pelo posicionamento que tem referente as mudança sociais conforme as suas reflexões que afloram principalmente, o tema feminismo.
Eu aproveito a oportunidade para acrescentar que é triste vermos tanto ódio, delimitações, punições à mulher ( mesmo na atualidade). Hoje, apesar de muito avançarmos, sabemos que a mulher ainda sofre e tem muitas dificuldades para se firmar dentro de sua própria história. Isso nós vemos constantemente, através de determinados exemplos que chamam atenção. O mais comum e que cito aqui, é a violência. Claro, temos muitos outros que podemos exemplificar. Todavia, eu gosto de pensar que todos nós, ganhamos muito quando se estreia as nossas diferenças. Repudiar essa prática é importante para crescermos de maneira saudável enquanto sociedade. Não se pode normalizar aquilo que de fato, ainda nos escraviza, inferioriza, rebaixa como seres humanos que somos.

Magical Monday – Freedom

What does freedom mean to you?

I love this writing prompt. I actually whacked my head yesterday and it took me a little bit write properly, so hopefully, this makes any sense.

Freedom definitely means to something different to people. One thing I do agree with is that I don’t have freedom, until we are all free.

I think of these two quotes.

When you see what is happening now. It started with bigots, and bigoted politics targeting trans people…As it’s gone on to then abortion rights, gay rights (in general), immigrants and now they’re starting to ban books. More and more mass shooting’s. How can we say that we are free?

Tennessee: Parents Complain about Cancellation of “Inclusive” Mothers Day Event

Parents in Chattanooga, Tennessee, complained to the district school board about its cancellation of a Mothers Day event that was intended to be inclusive. The school board reacted to a complaint by a member of the censorious rightwing Moms for Liberty.

Parents in Chattanooga, Tennessee boldly confronted the Hamilton County School Board and its Superintendent Justin Robertson “for caving to Moms (Against) Liberty-led bullying and canceling a librarian’s Mother’s Day lesson inclusive to kids without moms,” The Tennessee Holler tweeted on Sunday.

Moms for Liberty (which the paper dinged as “against”) is a right-wing organization that campaigns against social progress and civil rights.
