Big Fight in Little Chinatown: Review for LAAPFF 2023 – AsAmNews

With the US Chinese Exclusion Act of 1882 and the Canadian Chinese Immigration Act, 1923 and other racists policies, the Chinese were made unwelcome in North America. Thus, Chinatowns are a legacy of persistence because in the US and Canada, Chinese and other East Asians were driven out of towns and cities, they were lynched and they were hated.

Big Fight in Little Chinatown looks at three Chinatowns: Vancouver, Manhattan and Montreal. These have managed to survive over a hundred years. The Chinatown in Vancouver was settled between 1886-1920.  The Chinatown in New York (Manhattan) founded in the mid-1800s. The Chinatown in Montreal was unofficially recognized in 1902.

As per SUMERIAN KING LIST (SKL) , JUSHUR was the King of Kish . According to SKL , he had reigned for 1200 years . But he doesn’t appear in the Early Dynastic Inscriptions . blood, marrow and tears

máu, tủy và nước mắt

lying there
waiting
spring rising from the endless scattered white bones
your body crumbling
spilling from the temples
the doomed rootless blood cells

settled on chewing each joint on your fingers
imagining the cheesy scent of happiness
blood
you thought
a cheap wine

all that noise
silenced
by the coming darkness
reigning on some magical golden dais of freedom

learn oh
be blindsided so
or pluck out your eyes mo
use your head to walk towards a dawn
turning into dust.

Mãe

Pensamentos.me/VEM comigo!
